Mike David / Red Bar Radio / Jules Felker David - "Where we at with Red Bar?"

If you find it let me know. I’ve seen a few where Mike explained she was being a hole but none where she cried
I think your are talking about when Mike said " I've been meaning to say this, I don't like your dream stories" then 30 seconds later he asked " are you crying about the dream thing" . I would suggest searching for ' Dream ' in his episodes

I seriously doubt that Luis is 5'9". Joe Rogan has claimed to be 5'8". Either way, if he's a little shorter than Luis J Gomez, then he can only be barely taller than Joe Rogan. Teetering on the edge of manlet. I know that Tony Hinchcliffe is like the same height as Rogan but looks almost the same height as Dave Smith in this picture who is the tallest skank and at least 6', so angles can really throw this off. Or Tony is standing on something.

Rogan has to be like 5'6, if not slightly shorter.

This has probably been talked to death about on one of the deleted subreddits or groups but Mike's wife looks a fuckload like a woman version of Kyle lane. Mike never even dated a blond before Kyle and only started dating Jules once Kyle left him, pretty odd coincidence.

also sort of hilarious that Mike found the only gamer girl into open world RPGs and he openly hates video games. pretty ironic, he has KotakuInAction's dream girl and he despises her hobby. Also we're right about where Mike starts hating the co-host.

I have grown to like her more and more. Her Hila Klein impression is spot on. Mike has said several times she is a staple in the show I dont think she is going anywhere.
Ya, she can really shine when making fun of some of the female fools especially . I wish she'd do more of it but I get the impression she genuinely likes a lot of them and envies them doing more of their own thing or whatever as sad as that sounds.

I’m a true and honest fan, despite his cow status in many regards. But does anybody know anything about the whole camp saga from when he was a teenager? I remember there being a bunch of talk about it on the Reddit before it was banned, and it seems like those episodes are deleted from the website. It’s hard to catch up on the lore, but I always wondered about that.

he talks about it in the wrong way. it wasn't a camp nor a private school or boarding school. it was just juvenile hall. the only reason it was up in maine was because of some deal a lot of school districts made to outsource it.

there's only one episode where he talks about it really, and thats floating around. IIRC its from 2011.

did he stream yesterday? i don't see anything on the site
It'll probably be up later today. If you're scars he sends emails out when they go live and if you have an instagram you can turn on notifications for when he posts because they post on there when they go live. Otherwise you can just obsessively check the website every day at ~4pm eastern time. Shows are usually about a week apart +/- a couple days.

oh cool i'm watching it now, thanks!

someone posted a link to episode 3 which just bypasses the paywall, and it also worked for a lot of episodes if you just changed the episode number in the URL too, which was cool. but i've been trying to watch episode 5 that way and it's just always said 'still processing'. i'm not really expecting an answer, but if someone happens to know that would be great, i want to see episode 5 heh. here's the link to episode 3 that was posted btw https://redbarradio.net/embed/vod2?id=REDBAR-S20-E03

I think it was the Èlan school and it is one of those fucked up places that inexplicably never got shutdown for an absurdly long time despite kids dying there, rampant accusations of abuse, kids disappearing, etc.

Pretty much they took in problem kids for cash and used humiliation, beatings, and starvation diets as a "therapy" tool, along with forcing kids to fight. It was founded by a shrink and a heroin addict (not the same person) in 1970...because any other decade, someone would have pointed out this is a bad idea.

I think it shutdown in 2010 or 2011 because there were constant abuse allegations and the school was always fighting any investigation. It also got to the point that even the most fucked up jurisdictions stopped sending kids there.

I only know about the place because an alumni did a documentary called "the last stop". It's a pretty heavy flick. If you watch the flick and see how a lot of these people never really recovered, I don't know, I kind of respect Mike if his experiences were anything like the other kids, that he came out of it as functional as he is.

Edit: found a YouTube link to the film.

Episode 5 had some kind of audio glitch when it was uploaded so they redid it and since then a lot of people have been having issues with it, especially non paypigs

I just figured it out by trial and error when I read its a 2 part episode. Here you go:

pretty sweet for redbar to not announce on either mailing list or Instagram or any of the other jewey things you have to sign up for that he had a show. its hard to not just pirate and fuck this guy over when he does this.

yep thats the school, its fairly famous especially in true crime circles because of what a lot of the alumni did later on in life. Having said that, Mike especially in his younger years was clearly deserving of a place like that.

while Mike wasn't a violent psychopath, thats more because of how small he was, he even admits to being a bully and ruining multiple kids lives and manipulating "friends" for his own amusement pre-elan.

This isn't like you or me being sent here, it was for the well off troubled teens. if anything Mike was better off, the state juvenile hall, (which was where he would have likely been sent considering he was already failing alternative school) would have fucked him up much worse darkies don't take too kindly to racist jokes it would have resulted in more beating than he ever got at Elan, which even he admits he thrived in. And thats the best case scenario, worst case he finds his own kyle lane at 18 instead of 25 and they break people's things and rob and steal and do drugs and hookers much earlier in life.

not to get too much into it, but i personally feel a lot of current psychology is skewed because its from an extremely WASPy view of things like morality or conscience, and while people have gotten better about removing a lot of those aspects (not being protestant was a sign of sociopathy for awhile there) the main basis still decided on a very strict definition of morals and anti-social behavior that rules out anyone not from a middle class white suburban background.

compared to your average normie, mike is clearly antisocial but much like autism, the spectrum places him in the same category as cartel hitmen.

Mike is a non-violent sadist and while normie high school clearly wasn't going to work for him. the options people gave him wouldnt work either. obviously Elan had a lot of horror stories but its mainly because the kids sent there would have the connections to tell their stories later on, and from what i hear, its not that much different than Juvie. only a bit more de jure than de facto beatings.

TL;DR Mike's start of darkness didn't start at this school, he was always off but as we saw with Kyle lane. Mike isn't completely gone. if we categorized psychopaths, Mike would be in the lower tiers. when up against anyone like himself Mike loses, but he's still way above normies. its like how the worst pro football team is better than the best college ball team. the Detroit Lions might suck if put up aganist any other NFL team, but they're still an NFL team.
