Most people don't want to live under a regime that was hideously inefficient, fraught with infighting because Hitler thought having his goons compete for power would prevent them from trying to oust him, was willing to exterminate entire peoples based on racial prejudices badly disguised under a psuedo-scientific justification at best, and flat out told the world to submit or die for the "master race".
A race, Micheal, which you were not even a part of and in fact you would have been, at best, a second class citizen fit for little more than quiet submission and slave labor if they were feeling charitable.
