Looks like it has canards. This bad boy is clearly built for agility and looks to be more of a successor to the f-22 then anything, though with its own squadron of drone wingmen. Air-to-air combat in the 2030s-50s is gonna be very video gamey methinks.

I think the plan in GCAP (the bong/jap/wop project plane) is to have advanced auto pilot control the fighter while the fighter pilot assigns duties to the drones.I hope it’s a twin seater, or the whole drone control aspect will be difficult.
