IMO, millennials will overtake the boomers for worst generation, deservedly so.
Similar to boomers, millennials grew up in a time of historic economic and social progress, so much so that in the 90's some political scientists described the decade as "the end of history" due to the perception that the ideological conflicts of the past had resolved, leaving the decade defined by a sense of calm, abundance, and an end to historical progression rather than a period of dynamic change.
Put plainly, people could get good paying jobs regardless of where they started in life or whether they went to college or not, and the days of struggling for niggers and faggots was over. Nobody really gave a fuck about race, gender, or sexuality anymore.
Despite all of this, millennials then went through 9/11, the patriot act, the 08 market crash, ridiculous student loan debt coupled with useless degrees, then covid and finally the housing market pricing most of them out.
Yet, they somehow deserve so much worse.
That's how fucking bad millennials are.
A useless generation defined by feeling entitled to everything regardless of how many times they're told "No, things are different now, you aren't going to get that".
A generation who constantly complains about never being given the chance to succeed, yet whenever they are given the chance to do anything, they intentionally turn whatever they're given into shit, and claim it's everybody else's fault for not enjoying their trash.
The only things millennials want are nostalgia and clout.
They want to relive a time they could never build and be praised as special and unique for it.
