Nether update was the last good update. Caves & Cliffs update reality is that terraforged and other terrain mods just did it better.
i'd take them making yung's better caves native than fucking the earth with retarded gaping anuses anytime of the day.

Strangely enough, I'm playing with Terraforged and other assorted mods and I don't think I've come across any concentrated andestine, diorite, or pointed dripstone veins across my whole world, it's always stone, ores, and deepslate. Maybe they're way down in deepslate since I don't usually go down that far.

IIRC (it's been like 6 years), Terraforged disables andesite/diorite/granite. Might be confusing it with a different generation mod that was also popular back then.

I've actually played the Allumeria demo a few times (it's free). It's like beta Minecraft with a few Terraria elements added to it. Tools have infinite durability, it has a boss you can fight, and there are items that can give you various boosts, like a permanent HP increase or picking up items from a further distance, etc It's a little bit barebones, but it does have potential.

I personally like how there are multiple proper Minecraft competitors being made. Modern Minecraft feels like a below-average modpack for 1.7.10 that is being monetized like a pay-to-win mobile game. It's crazy how few meaningful changes this game has gotten since that version (1.7.10 came out in 2014).

I'm thinking I may just have to play Minecraft for once in my life. As in, actually play it, try to beat it, powergame that shit.
If you don't want to give Microsoft your money, then consider pirating since it's incredibly easy. Just download PolyMC (it's safe, open source, and makes trannies mad) and make an "offline account" with it (it will only require you to input a username; no e-mails or passwords are required). You'll have access to every single Minecraft version, and you can also install mods very easily.

I already own Minecraft. I just never played it with any aim at "beating the game." I'd build plantations (in the sense of huge farms of the game's crops and stands of timber), road systems and map terrain.

Gentlemen, a second age verification has hit the xbox jeetcraft, funny how the first two comments i managed to find were good advice.

I think the last time I sat down and actually played Minecraft was either shortly after 1.0 or before that. But recently I started playing these last couple of days. Found a decent seed, still trying to figure out all the shit that was added by Microsoft.

I wanted to build something on a mountain and after generating a third seed I found something good. Still expanding and building on and around the mountain.

The finished laying the foundations, going to add a balcony and then need to do the interior.
The greenhouse also not finished, and the animal pen is quite expansive because it runs through the mountain but also needs some work.

I am still working on laying the foundation for a rail network. I would like to incorporate the smaller mountains. Not sure if I do some watchtowers or smaller bases there.

I’ve been building a house in creative and while doing the interior I was frankly blown away at how many different blocks and items were added since last I played. We are absolutely spoiled for choice to the point it almost feels like too much, but I personally like the new blocks.

I made significant progress on the house and I was not ready for the amount of detail modern Minecraft has, back in my day we didn't have nothin'.
But I did learn some neat little tricks about detailing, it's the little things that take a lot more time.
It's not done, I only have the gardens and two of four floors finished but it's shaping up. I'm going for that more classic Minecraft look where we just had blocks of wood and rocks but with the modern snazzyness.

The main part of the first floor.

The kitchen.

The lounge.

The dining room.

Now the second floor, the event hall and balcony.

But now it's the exterior. First, the main grove.

I did some tricks for the lighting. The side walls have bulbs that turn on during the night using minecarts, and I hid froglights in the trees to make sure mobs couldn't spawn.

But my favorite part is the grotto. Went crazy with the new flowers and the tricks were that if you put string on top of bamboo it wont grow anymore, and that sea pickles on top of pumpkins look like a stem.

Is Gerg suffering from troll's remorse because of that hit piece video or is he just fucking around?
Fucking around.

He never even acknowledged using KF in his video shooting down that cancel attempt. Plus, going off his humor in his Shorts content, he's joking about it from a different angle. Ie "Microsoft trying to drive up Marketplace engagement"

The house is finished, finally finished and man it was more work than I thought it would be.
Happy with it though, it's a good base for survival as well because I ping pong between gamemodes depending on how I want to play at the moment.
All I have to do now is bridge the house to my industrial district with the farms, but I really liked playing with the new blocks.

I added a lot more plant and animal life to the garden, and I was genuinely tweaking for a bit because the axolotls kept despawning as I didn't know they need two blocks deep of water to stay. It's hard to tell from screenshots, but it's really nice to have more life moving in the area. Golems, pandas, bees, armadillos, foxes, sniffers, turtles, axolotls and a lot of plants makes it a really chill place.

The third floor has everything you need to gear up for adventures and customize your loadout. A pvp mat, brewing, forging, enchanting, chilling, anything you need.

The attic is bare right now and it's just for storage. My next plan is to switch to survival and work on the industrial district because I like making farms.
