My biggest problem with these games that have incredibly permissable modding and self-hosting ability is that the developers don't crack down hard enough (or at all) on people making money with it. It absolutely pisses me off that people are allowed to charge money for "premium" plugins and mods and shit. Vintage Story chads stay winning, with official mod support in the form of an API and developer owned mod hub, and the server keeping the clients updated with whatever mods are installed.

the funny part is the faggot saying that both notch and microjeet are bad,
“I know Microsoft is full of soulless child-sacrificing demonic husks who want to subvert and destroy everything I love and make me watch, but like… Notch said it’s okay to be white once! That means he’s just as bad!”
This type of self-hating faggot and their selective outrage comprising a significant portion of modern society is why we will continue to see the things we enjoy be raped into worthlessness.

Thread tax: Creative mode is overhated and underrated. It wasn’t always like this. I attribute the changing attitude towards creative to the sweaty compnigger invasion of Minecraft’s playerbase. There’s nothing wrong with preferring survival, but there is definitely a large chunk of the playerbase who treats survival mode like a dick-measuring contest to show how much better you are at grinding/farming/mega projects than everyone else is, and this group of people is responsible, in my opinion, for the widespread smearing of creative mode as “cheating”, unfun and boring.

the funny part in your post is that creative people don't yield a iota of a fuck to what they say, they genuinely ignore these people as god intended.
typa nigger that seriously want to tell others how they should and shouldn't enjoy the game rather than shitpost about it, the whole game is a sandbox, if you don't want to make a sand castle don't bitch at the people that do.

also i just got a video recommended that minecraft's system requirements were updated

these are java requirements because why even jeetrock? they literally have a comparison between versions and java fucking destroys jeetrock by the fact that you have mods, who gives a shit about DLC?

pay attention that they try to list a bunch of inane crap that you can mod on java btw as a benefit to jeetrock, they know java is superior and have to try their best to make their shitty cash shop verison to look better than java to uninformed parents.

This is depressingly pathetic. The Marketplace, Marketplace Pass and DLC are all just different names for "mods, custom skins and texture packs" the only difference being that the Bedrock ones are paid and not only that, but usually priced far higher than the quality of the content would deserve. Java has been able to get all of these things at higher quality, totally free, for over a decade. Controller/touch support is also possible and fairly easy with modding on Java. That leaves split-screen (possible with modding) and cross platform (who gives a fuck?).

Outside of console gamers and kids too young or dumb to know the difference, I really don't get who they're trying to push Bedrock for. Console gaming as a whole is dying due to a mix of corporate greed and high part prices making modern console gaming unaffordable and even if you have the money to spend, you're getting a significantly worse experience with virtually zero benefit (you can even play Java portably and comfortably on the Steam Deck).

imagine playing a game where the whole point is creating stuff for the sake of creation and then complaining there's nothing to do. I think 80 percent of my time in Minecraft is in creative mode. Genuinely if these people cannot find the fun in creative then they are the biggest goycattle niggers in existence.

Just don't build too high or else Deus nos omnes devovebit.

SMP means survival multiplayer, literally just people on a server but it's a term used to separate large public servers with hubs and shit vs a bunch of people playing Minecraft (for the most part).

Isn't Hypixel just that? Minigames? I don't play on it so I don't really know. Most independent minigame servers are dead like you said which is sad, I think any chance of a minigame server like the "old days" will probably be on Bedrock since Java has a monopoly on that.
Semi-related, rip console minigames.
that skybox is stunning, is that a resource pack?

Isn't creative mode how some of the the crazier things done in the game are found?

Even when compared to the "new" specs trying to make Java look worse than Bedrock still mogs the Bedrock specs because 8GBs RAM is the recommended amount for it while Java is the minimum (no matter the difference in iGPU or dGPU), meanwhile the real Java specs will rear it's head to any non-Jeet playing it the moment they boot it up and Mods can make it even leaner, especially since Vanilla Java is still more optimized as a whole than Bedrock.

Two Shaders, first one being the famous Iteration which is overrated to shit and I only really used when going to the End for obvious reasons, it looks good but there are dozens of shaders that perform better while looking great. Some people get their panties in a bunch because it "steals code" but there's way more problems with it than that, I'm not a tranny faggot so I don't care.
The second one is Solas which I like more overall and has the second best End imo.
Not a big fan of shaders for gameplay and just use them for screenshots, but I'm definitely waiting for Caztoon to officially release, I'll be using that permanently.

the funny part is the faggot saying that both notch and microjeet are bad, like my nigger do you even look the guy above you saying that notch is far better than a bunch of sovless corporate drones? still it's funny seeing someone with ancient lore reminding players that they made this bed, TIME TO LIE IN IT.
Never heard of 6B6T, so it's basically a more modernized 2B2T with more active staff? Interesting, probably just as shit as 2B2T but at least it's trying. Also lol to the guy who's crying about Notch and completely missing the point, retards like that are why this like this happens in the first place and continues to happen. Too focused on their personal problems and not the full picture.

Always had a problem with that for years for all sorts of games, and yet not only the devs but the people let them get away with it. Hell, people actively defend it yet shit themselves when they see developers attempting paid mods. Both suck and shouldn't happen but people want to pick and choose.

I've seen a tiny amount of people complain about creative mode here and there but never to the extent you're saying. Then again I don't hang around public spaces outside of this site, sad thing is I completely believe you considering how many losers I see in all sorts of games complaining that "if you don't play exactly how I play you're playing it wrong." I like challenge but nigger there's a time and place, it's like this image taken to the extreme:

-Crossplatform compatibility
Meh, why would I want to play with console users on PC? It has more incentive for casual users since it's a casual game but still, not a big deal. Plus more people are migrating to PC everyday so it has pull.
-Split screen
There's a mod for that and it probably has better functionality too.
-Controller/Touch support
I mean, casuals do prefer controller but at this point if you're playing on PC just use the keyboard. There's also several mods for controller support too, both of those mods I linked are made by prominent mod developers (one of which is working on a split screen addon too funny enough). And touch support? Who the fuck is using a touch screen outside of their phones?
-Marketplace+Pass
Same argument as console mods vs PC mods for Bethesda games, only if you absolutely have no other choice (console mods for Bethesda are largely free anyway so lol). Most marketplace shit is stolen from Java anyway so they're advertising "hey remember those free mods, maps, etc. you can't get because you're playing Bedrock? Well how about you pay for a worse version of them!" Sadly it works.
-DLC
Yay, more shit I can get for free on Java of similar or even superior quality that you have to pay for as a Bedrock user. If I do have to pay because someone is being a paywalling cunt (rip Kemono, all hail Pawchive) they're probably way more worth the price than anything Microshart or Bugrockfags can make. I will say, the OST for the Greek/Nordic mythology packs are nice to listen to. And I can listen to them for free on YouTube.
-Mods
Pretty much just said why they're worse in every way in that chart, Java having this one thing going for it is why it absolutely stomps on Bugrock in every way.

I made this timed teleporter and it's actually easy and useful. It's a binary counter getting input from a daylight sensor hooked up to a stasis chamber, so that after a set number of days the trapdoor closes and you get teleported back home. Just make sure it's all in one chunk or else the redstone won't work, ender pearls only load one chunk I think.
It's a useful contraption because you can just load up for a mining expedition or whatever will take you far away, set up the machine and throw in a pearl, and after a couple days you're right back home no matter how lost you got. You can be in other dimensions and you'll still get teleported as well, and thrown ender pearls don't disappear if you leave a game, so it's almost foolproof if you work it right.

Craft to Exile 2 hit 2.0:
what annoys me is that tricky trials update would work best with his map system but 1.21 also does a lot of retarded shit codewise, also the mod doesn't let you swap classes or have more than two classes that easily but no one is perfect.
other than that the mod is straight fire, especially with item borders.
1785754739130.png
though this is the 1.12 version, there are better versions of the item display but i haven't seen a mod that highlights dropped items, the mod seriously loves dropping a lot of items that a recycling station will be one of the first things you will look for.
1785754809415.png
also be sure to make a instance for the mod unless you want to pollute your normal modded installation, the entire focus of the mod is to shower you with loot and random stat stuff which also affects regular items or different mod ones.

'dit
zoomie zoomer makes great points but fail to get the why.
it's just busywork and them trying to make modding foundations, like you can mod the warden to drop exp and loot even though vanilla wardens drop is shit + no exp, netherite is literal retarded busywork for a knockback resistance buff, the appearance of the armor being wholly different than minecraft could be argued as part of jeetsoft's attempt of getting rid of the iconography of minecraft y'know but it doesn't really work, creepers which are the main pet of the game and the most recognizable face is from java and i'm fairly sure some fag at microjeet still seethes to this day they can't do a rebrand with bugrock as their main version, no matter if they do gay renaming and visual changes...
and please do remember that these niggers are that fucking petty, they literally hire marketeers and psychologists to help them doing this, it's like that image of turning brands into religions:
1785766233043.png
they genuinely believe that retarded shit and work hard towards it.

Minecraft “fans” when someone uses the creativity toy to be creative

But seriously, those are the same types who complain about you not playing Elden Ring right because you used a summon, bitch shut up it’s a video game that I fucking own I will play it how I please.

I feel like creative mode players have been REALLY quiet ever since the fetish for speedrunning and endless busywork really took off in the minecraft fandom, haven't they? You can't really engagement bait with it, so I swear they just play the game instead of talking about how you should play the game.

After some time and gathering resources. I finally have a proper house. Not yet done, but it’s on its way.

I adored Creative Plots, but that stuff just ain't what it used to be. Would I prefer survival over creative in totality, though? Fuck no. One can appreciate one and the other in the same sense one can appreciate Skywars and Cops 'n' Robbers; I'd even say that I prefer creative as a whole above survival, to be fair, at least when you still have that creative, childish spark in you. It was thousands of hours of fun by just making things. -- How these uncreative, niggardly fucks can't understand that the purity of creating things, without needing to take a quadrillion hours to gather the supplies, isn't fun, is above my pay grade. Sometimes you just feel like making a massive castle but don't want to spend time on mining useless amounts of cobblestone to gather it all. Not everything has to be back-breaking fucking work. Es-fucking-pecially when it's redstone shit, fuck doing that in survival.

If you're not building a gigantic megalopolis with your bare fucking hands, block by block, you're a pathetic piece of shit who doesn't deserve any amount of attention and all the scrutiny because it needs to take TIME and EFFORT in my VIDEO GAME or else you're a LOSER. I remember when spending ludicrous amounts of time on a game like Minecraft would be seen as sad and pathetic instead of being in the top echelon of people to look up upon. It still is sad to me.

I have to confess that I think the sulfur cubes are neat. They seemingly have hardly any real use, like every other feature pumped out by Mojang, but I really like the idea. Does anyone know if they stole it from a pre-existing mod?

I found that the Sulfur cubes are useful for minigames, it's more "what goofy idea can I do with them" than "what use can do they provide." Though I have seen them used like carpet bombs from a Happy Ghast. Honestly I'm just waiting for a full on War update at this rate because it's super easy to grief people with them.
