They decided to add bamboo and multiple new default skins for "representation". Seriously, for that reason ?

Oh, and they are adding raft that is basically just a boat with a different model.

EDIT: At least they added camels.

Am I the only one who thinks this entire mob vote thing is utterly pointless? Mojang is a studio that's big enough and has enough cash to throw around to implement all three mobs into the game with ease. Why bother showing off concepts for mobs and dangle them in front of everyone's faces when you're not a tiny team of 3-4 people in Sweden where implementing a single mob was a big enough challenge that you only decide on implementing one?

Oh yeah, I forgot, despite being a subsidiary of Microsoft and having all this workforce and resources you're still too fucking lazy to implement the features you promise for one update and lay those off for the next one, or just scrap them overall. You just don't care about making the game good anymore, to the point where a bunch of fans can create more engaging content for the game in a shorter time in their spare time without even getting paid to do so.

The mob votes are done for community interaction. They can implement them all if they wanted to, but they wanted the player base to play a role in which of them get implemented.

In regards to the Minecraft update: I get that they plan on building more and more onto as time goes on, but I and not hyped with the amount of content we've been shown.

I still wish they had added in the Monster of the Ocean Depths mob. I like sea monsters in general, and having this thing in the game could have made the ocean biome more interesting.

That said I need to look and see if there are any mods that add it (or any other sea monster for that matter) into the game.

Its time we abandon modern minecraft after what they did with the chat reporting system. Its clear the devs don't have any idea what they're doing or have a shitty vision for the game. We should try Better than Adventure, It's the most fun I've had with the game for awhile.

I'm sorry if I start to sound like a broken record, but I feel this needs further clarification:

The mob votes are not, nor have they ever been, done out of Laziness. They're done for the express purpose of allowing the playerbase to play a part in the game's development.

Like I said earlier: Mojang can easily add all of these mob vote mobs into the game if they wanted to, but they don't because they aren't a part of development of the upcoming update and implementing them would take time away from the main attraction.

Would've been better than the annoying as hell phantoms. I still don't know why that's what won the first mob vote when it seems to be a universally hated feature.

One of the guys behind the alternative launcher PolyMC just "went rogue" and cut off the access of every other contributor and maintainer, and deleted the Code of Conduct from the repository. @ everyone pings are going off in every Minecraft related Discord server as we speak claiming that the launcher is compromised and telling everyone to stop using it.

PolyMC is a pretty good launcher, as the CurseForge fuckery crippled MultiMC's modpack download function where as PMC found a workaround. Also PMC added modrinth compatibility which is an open source CurseForge competitor. Will probably do a write up on the CF fuckery later.

Lenny claims to have GPG keys and to be the real one, so he could have just snapped at having to deal with trannies pressuring him into things. Or he could have had his discord, his github, his GPG and other sites hacked all at the same time. Former seems more likely

I hate it when Open Sores infighting kills good projects.
