What are stuff are you going to grow?
build actually
its vanilla minecraft with some QoL mods
might make another tree like the ones outside, add in some hidden lighting and I'll have some underground glowing trees

Threadshitter's gonna threadshit. I wasn't going to reply to that anyway

Anyway. Im planning on putting a massive underground garden here. Right after the main entrance to the castle
If you have any other suggestions I'd be glad to hear them
Very nice when people post their builds, I like the use of the basalt-stone thing as pillars for the stairs. How will you light up the garden? I don't imagine the glowing trees will be enough.

I miss kiwicraft... Those 3 weeks when jersh ran a server were the most fun I've had with the game.

It will be something similar to my wheat fields area
paths with lanterns and hidden lightting behind bushes/tall grass and vines

I'm about 90% done on that area, just some buildings I got to finish

A very Agarthan vibe.

Nice :null:
Thanks
The trees were a pain in the ass, never using dark oak again I'll use spruce logs with oak leaves much better tree/sapling ratio

whats stopping you from playing older versions? ive been playing on LCE XB1 for at least like 2 years now, and it solved that issue for me.
QoL and less RAM usage.
especially after the portal update, mods that load different dimensions got so much better thanks to that, nu-dimensional doors being fully playable with the default ram allocation comes to mind and that's not even counting the loading optimization mods you can slap to make shit even better like modernfix.
speaking of older stuff, jeettube recommended me a channel showing the old tutorial worlds, seems that the guy is playing on jeetrock/mobile.

Could not last a minute watching this, I figured out Minecraft when I was a literal child faster than this grown ass man. I assume they're an adult. Maybe it gets better but between this and the one retard we posted in the Elder Scrolls thread there's only so much normie retardation I can stand.
I watched a little more a bit after this was posted. This...fucking monkey completely missed the first encounter of Herobrine, he stared right at this motherfuck and missed it.
Even the 'Tuber was shocked by this retard's inability to see anything in front of him, I could see him even when I pressed my nose to my screen just to try and see how you could possibly miss it. I'm cracking up.
I skipped to the second encounter because this guy is struggling to use his fucking computer at this point, Herobrine was right in his face and he MISSED IT. This has to be a troll, this guy...holy shit, not even sure why I'm watching this but I figured I'd get a kick out of him being scared or something...what the fuck? I know this guy's only actual experience with Minecraft was the movie (I'm not kidding) but I'm starting to be genuinely concerned for his mental health.

Alright, I skipped to the end. Turns out he did notice it...he just didn't care. He thought it was the youtuber going "God mode" and never acknowledged it. I don't know if this is better or worse. Doesn't save his inability to function on a PC but it makes more sense now.

Beautiful palate cleanser for me. Nice to see you posting your stuff here again as always.

This Danish guy figured out the game within the first few minutes of booting up Bedrock, meanwhile this guy doesn't even think of holding his mouse. nugaming is fucked.
the one retard we posted in the Elder Scrolls thread
Link?

I saw that in my recommended, it was so retarded that I clicked off after two minutes. Also the Youtuber is really grating to me for some reason.

Decided to do my once-in-a-while play of minecraft after a while. I forget the last time I played, but all the biomes feel really small and some of the terrain generation is really nice. It almost feels new again. But, it feels way too easy to get everything! I don't even have to go underground very often. I don't think I really have, yet! The game feels much easier than what I remember, (almost) deflatingly so. Definitely turning on the large biomes world preset next time. The campfire block is probably my favorite new block of them all. An actual functioning fireplace with smoke and all! And if you put a hay block underneath, the smoke rises even taller. It's a fantastic early-game beacon for finding my way home especially in this new jagged terrain that trips me up every five steps.

Anyways, have a fox. I have no idea why it let me get so close, no idea what it does, and no idea why they gave it snoring noises, but it's cute. Just wish the game was harder and had less dead-end uninteresting features. It feels like they're giving up on feature-richness and going more for this weird forced """adventure""" vibe that's too easy.

Caves and Cliffs update ruined any scarcity when it comes to mineable resources. If you want to try hard you can get diamonds under 5 minutes with right spawn.
Is that what that update's called? I mean, on the upside the terrain is stunning. But man, there's so much ore everywhere that I feel spoiled!

Really shows that people born at certain years must've got hit with some regressive gene that causes the brain to smoothen out or something.
Guy's name is Frostbreak, we've made fun of him a few times in the thread but here's the newest one (well it eventually starts so you'll have to scroll down). I'll see if I can find another page where we shit on him, but basically he's this niggercattle who can't play games older than Oblivion if we're being generous. He had his sister play Daggerfall and iirc she couldn't even read properly or form a train of thought or something so he (or someone else present) had to help them. Genuine mental underdevelopment, here's a link to the post.
Somehow he managed to beat Redguard so hats off to him, but that's the only time I'll take my hat off with him. You can find more if you go back a few months in the thread but you can get a good idea of what we think of him if you check out his videos for yourself, or at least the comment section. Those New Vegas videos were horrible.

Standard fake YouTuber enthusiasm and excitement so the target audience doesn't get bored instantly.

I don't mind the cave generation but yeah, the ore generation seriously needs to be toned down. Then again I've seen people speedrun netherite armor in 35 seconds with the right seed so honestly everything is just way too easy if you put any amount of time into it. As always, there's a mod for that. You can probably combine that with that large ore deposit mod, reduce large ore deposit spawn chance, and now you not only reduce overall ore but it feels far more meaningful when you discover a large amount of ore.
Shit I might try that.

at this point i would toss in my 5 cents and recommend cave spelunking because it makes sure ores only spawn when in contact with air or liquids by default, you can config it obviously, mix them all and bam, you have a good reason to go in caves or even just walk about in the overworld.

Ahh, now I've used that mod a few times but didn't really notice it too much since I never really strip mine. Then again I didn't mess with the config of that mod before so I'll probably mess around with them along with the other mods mentioned.

There is also the option of doing the opposite - significantly increasing the cost of every item while keeping or even increasing the ore abundance. Thats what Omnifactory does and there it works really well albeit it only makes sense for technical mods.

If i wanted Better Than Wolves i'd play Better Than Wolves, honestly.

Increasing the cost of every item means editing each and every item you want to increase the cost of, many people have done that in many different ways, most of them being expert packs such as Omnifactory like you mentioned, autistic mods like BTW (rip Flowerchild), or changing the item process like TFC. Reducing ore spawns is far simpler and requires far less work.

Fucking hate NeoForge, or rather the people who make NeoForge versions of their mods, I was testing it a few times to see if it was any better with overall compatibility and performance than normal Forge and it's just pain. It's not a terrible mod loader from what I can tell but fuck me the people who make NeoForge exclusive (lol) mods or ports to NeoForge have no idea what they're doing. I've had way more issues with NeoForge than Forge because of that and it's on significantly smaller modpacks, meanwhile I can crank out a 200+ modpack with more or less the same mods with far less trouble.
I don't play nuMC often, only with very specific mods I actually like, but when I do it's just so much more work.

I briefly looked at the mod APIs because I wanted to customize some mods for myself, and from what I can briefly gather, NeoForge is just Forge but with a bunch of the built in Forge API stuff removed so its just worse Fabric. I could be wrong since I barely looked into it but that's what I got
