Maybe it's nostalgia, but I always considered the 360 to be peak Minecraft for me. Plays just like the Java edition and crafting is simple enough for retards like me.
For me it was the limitation about the legacy console editions that made it special. The 862x862 world size really made it easy to populate the world you were on with your builds and added a "finite" feeling to the world that you don't get in Java. Limitation does breed creativity.

Maybe I'm retarded, but how does anyone who has a video game not technically have the source code? You have it downloaded and that's how the game runs, right? What am I missing?

So trannies slandered a hard-working dev, siphoned all his users, and stole the credit for the launcher. These days, I see Linux Jewtubers promote PRISM as the DeFacto Minecraft launcher. It's one of the top downloads on Flathub with 1.5M installs. The poor cunt who runs PolyMC is never spoken of.
I remember that, I think his name was "LennyMcLennington" on Github. The trannys made some code and then started to sneak in pro-tranny TOS and messages into the launcher, LennyMcLennington pulled the plug and kicked everyone out and then the tranny used the "he's the only dev now, he can push viruses now into everyone!" excuse, but he did so in a panic since the trannys had ALREADY sneaked in stuff he did not approve of. In order to save face, the trannys got a bunch if smaller youtubers to push the "trojan horse/virus" agenda to shill the PRISM version. When they are called out on this, they use the same excuse: "well, he didn't push malicious code, but he could if he wanted to", which is so deceptive because the trannys were the ones actually pushing for shaddy stuff without LennyMcLennington knowledge first.

There was a really good post on /v/ (which is rare) and I regret not saving it.

The modding scene just keeps getting worse.

Compiled games are not source code, you cant edit them and get a new binary. Source code is the ingredients, the compiler is the oven that cooks the code into a binary (the food).

Modding scene really died as the game ebbed and moved toward plugin-servers like Hypixel/Mineplex at first, but now is a lot worse with troon-takeover and every x.x.1/.2/.3/.4/.10 update breaking everything.

to build just open the .SLN in visual studio 2022, set build target to release Windows64, right click the solution and click build, or press ctrl+shift+b, the build took me only 46 seconds. Build will be in ./x64/Release

I hope this leads to a community edition of the game now that we have a java accurate C++ port.

Works! It has some problems rendering chunks, I find myself constantly walking into unrendered territory. Keyboard support is also finnicky as it doesn't work in menus. I ended up playing on the controller, switching to the mouse for when I wanted to use my inventory. Beyond that, fully playable.

Loved my time with it, before I knew it I killed two hours of time just mindlessly exploring.

I sure hope so, a better version of the legacy console version (which is still better than Bedrock) would mean we'll finally have a competent alternate version of Java thats just as good (though the playstation variant might be better since they got the most content updates).

Someone post a local archive or torrent here pls, I'm a nigger who's too lazy to DL the sauce and make a link.

Sort of there is still issues on their version and he recommends downloading a more stable version from another user.

Any way to fix the keybord bugs?
