Turns out that even though Musty was "terribly ill" and "had a stroke that nearly immobilized her", she had the strength to still go to the Fort Wayne Zoo either on Thursday or Friday!

Yeah, she was bragging about this on her YouTube as well, imagining how jealous people would be of a trip the zoo and a pizza dinner. I don't think she understands that those things are entirely normal and not at all a special occasion for regular people with jobs and lives. No mention of how she heroically struggled with a scooter or wheelchair either - guess she temporarily forgot she's supposed to be sick unto death.

Isn't someone well enough for outings like this well enough for prison? (Not that it matters; she'd go to prison even if she had a stroke/ MS / bowel surgery/ pneumonia/ /whatever- none of which she has).

I think Heather is referring to a family member of theirs who had a real stroke. She rightfully points out that the recovery times for a stroke is measured in years, and anyone claiming to have had a stroke who is capable of walking, talking, typing, housework, riding the bus, self care, cooking, and zoo outings 4-5 weeks after a "stroke" is completely full of shit.

Narcs are known for dramatically declaring or musing upon their imminent demise when painted into a corner. Misty knows she's not getting off with a warning again, and that jail is inevitable.

And at 15, Aurora is old enough to decide whether she wants to see her mother. We haven't seen a photo of her with Misty since early 2018. My strong sense is that Misty was told Aurora doesn't want to see her any more and that Misty's broken parole in her child abuse case is related to not respecting that decision (please note for the crazies: this is speculation, but my hunches as to lolcow actions aren't often proved wrong.)

At any rate, her final pretrial conference for her felony stalking case is Monday. It's her lawyer's last chance to cut some sort of deal for Misty, but I dont see her taking any lifelines (not that one is being offered, but prisons are overcrowded and usually for nonviolent crimes they'll try to shunt them back to County jails for shorter sentences if possible).

I have a hard time believing any actual bank gave her a mortgage on such a trash pile. How could she even get property insurance on it? Any mortgage would have cost like $60 a month.

I was assuming the former very elderly owner of the home died or went into care. The family realized they’d never be able to sell the home via normal means so found some desperate white trash (I.e. Misty) to do an “rent to own” thing. Maybe Misty paid them $200 a month for five years or something like that. “Rent to Own” arrangements are pretty common in terrible neighborhoods with houses that banks won’t touch and service people banks won’t lend to.

I could be wrong but the house is worth less than a decade old Subaru. If Musty hasnt paid it off after living in that dumpster for a decade then it’s even more hilarious. Owning such a negative assets is its own joke. It has a bright future as a squat for junkies before the city tears it down.
