Damn. 317 looks awesome. Only one WMMA fight, and it’s not on the main card (fight between Cortez and Araujo is gonna be shit though). Gonna be real sad if this one doesn’t deliver.

I am hoping Talbott gets embarrassed again. Not much else to say about that one. Probably the fight I care the least about.

Darius’s v Moicano! Great fight potential! I’m thinking this is going to be Benny’s last hoorah, so he’s going to be the aggressor early on. Moicano has amazing defense and is going to catch and deflect a lot of what is throw his way. I see the fight going to the ground; Benny getting a somewhat early takedown on Moicano, but Moicano turns it into an advantageous position for some brutal ground and pound. I don’t want either guy to lose this fight, but I think Moicano has it.

Two flyweight fights back-to-back aeems kind of gay, but both of these fights should be very fun. Not much to say about either fight. Van is a tough opponent for Royval, but Van fought like, two weeks ago? For that alone, I’m hoping he squeaks the W. I only want KKF to beat Pantoja for the epic chimpout that would come from Kape.

Heart wants Charlie Olives to win, brain knows Ilia is going to dominate. I don’t see a world where Oliveira has any chance to come out of this victorious. Ilia and Islam (as much as I hate the admit this), in my book, are tied for the best fighters in the organization. I think age is going to play a heavy factor in this one.

Feels weird to be genuinely hyped for a card this year. Hope it delivers on all fronts.

Never forget that for one brief moment in time every single American regardless of political ideology or alignment were able to set aside our differences and agree that gunning down health insurance CEOs in the street is fucking based.

I don’t know how I honestly feel about it. I think it’s extremely ugly and not befitting of a champion. Where is the gold? The prestige? I also freely admit that this is a belt that I would have made in the Smackdown versus Raw games as a teenager if given the opportunity. It’s the nWo Wolfpack UFC BJJ World Television Title… and I kind of like how bad it is.

Ben Askren is allegedly mildly responsive and now on a list to receive a lung. Again, I don’t know much about medical stuff, but I assume lungs are up there on the list of things that have an extremely long wait.
