That's not necessarily true. Hair can absorb compounds through contact with various different surfaces and follicle tests are notorious for environmental contamination and false positives from things as simple as hair products, which has gotten police officers who handle these cases in trouble in both Australia and the US. Apparently blacks are more susceptible to it (because of course they are), which I guess further conforms Nick's theory that's he's a real nigga.

Seriously though, assuming it's not a false positive, I think there's a reasonable explanation beyond the fact that they were feeding their 9 year old cocaine. First of all, she goes to school, so somebody would have noticed an abrupt shift in behavior if they also recognized the other sighs they were facing neglect. The Rekietas weren't cleaning their house at all and were using regularly, so it's possible that this kid had a chore or an activity that got her contaminated, like she was tasked with buying something with a used bill or handling their clothes or something.

I buy carelessness, arrogance or neglect from the Rekietas, and it's still really fucking back that the kids are in the position at all, but I don't think they're at that level.

Drug tests don't detect the substance being tested for, they detect the metabolites your body breaks the substance down into. A follicle test doesn't say "Hey there's cocaine on this hair!" it says "Hey this person's body ingested cocaine, broke it down and excreted these tell-tale by-products through the hair."

If this is a forgery, it has been done by a sophisticated actor. This isn't a jilted ex-lover, a locals fool or a Sektur troll. The attention to detail and numerous layers of deceit alongside it being a crime where they could actually be caught points to serious intent.

Part of me thinks if this is fake Nick would be one of the most likely people to originate this document for exactly this reason. Fake it, make it look real, and drop it at an opportune time for attention. Assuming it isn't traced back to him it makes his arguments that this is some witch-hunt stronger. Certainly not the best strategy overall, but one of the only ones that could see this mostly go away. If it works he could get back to his addictions and that's not really an option in any other circumstance.

There's too many weird little things littered throughout that document for me not to believe it's real. The weird boomerisms like how it's scanned really shoddily, or corroborating info and people we already know are involved with the Balldo.

If it is real, fuck these people. Nick and Kayla need to be thrown into a ditch. Where are your parental instincts to be such neglecting junkies you let your fucking 8-year-old get into the coke? If he cancels his stream tonight last minute, that 100% confirms it's real to me, and I take great joy in thinking about him having a panic attack right now trying to decide what he should do since this is already brewing up another shitstorm.
My greatest fear with this though, is that this is just an omen. That the bodycam footage, when it's released, is going to be much, much worse. Worse than any of us can imagine, even with how low our collective opinion of the Rekieta's is. It legit makes my stomach turn thinking about it.

A lush plea deal doesn't make child custody problems go away, if the plea deal even comes at all. Throwing out the case on due process grounds is the only way to retain custody of his children.
