The only good thing to come of this would be the “parents” dragged through the streets and murdered. But that won’t happen. Regardless the kids are going to have to live with this trauma for the rest of their lives.
Exactly. The Rekieta's didn't just fucked up the current lives of their offspring, but tarnished all the possible prospects of a trauma-free life for five innocent kids. That's a lifelong suffering provided by degeneracy, hedonism and the flesh.

Back around like 92 the comedian and radio host Ron Bennington hung up a jacket in the hallway and his kid went into his pocket and took what he thought was candy out of his dad's pocket and ate it. Ronnie then had to rush his kid to the hospital for eating Quaaludes. Ron Bennington never lived that down he accepted that he made a major mistake and took responsibility but he never lived it down. So if someone as beloved is Ron Bennington still carries that monkey on his back all these years later and that happened in the early 90s Nick is so fucked it's not even funny.

Oh, it has. Point of biggist failure is still the human doing the tests. We routinely mess stuff up.

But in regards to SA, we have got much better at catching it. Like, way better.

If it happened, we’d know. Charges would be way worse.
Nick better be counting his lucky balldos that his kid getting tested positive for coke is the worst of his issues then. Sickening. Deserves the rope, or wall if you will.

I agree, I'm also going to assume that CPS interviewed the kids.

If there was a mistake with the hair samples, it's that the lab screwed up and it was the older kid who was dipping into the stash.

<homer backing into the bushes.gif>

I suspect they're not going to talk about this situation given the current development and how badly torched they got after their initial streams on the matter. Aren't they already ignoring SCs about the matter?

Is this really the first time the kids names have been doxxed?
A lab mix-up could be a major score and get the entire case thrown out….
I miss when it was Sargon being accused of cocaine use.

Well we can still accuse Destiny of being a coke head midgit

I wonder how Robert Barnes & Viva Frei must feel after sweeping it hard for Rackets.

Barnes does not care. Nick and his case are just a means to an end for Barnes. He gets a platform for self-publicity and a court to make is "constitutional law" arguments. Barnes is actually attracted to hopeless cases with a crazy defendant willing to fight to the bitter end.

Even if Nick gets thrown in prison for a million years, Barnes will be able to consider it a win.

Considering how many of them there are, It really wouldn’t surprise me that they mixed up one brown hair with another. And that’s before even considering the brown hair was even of the Rackets family.

But in which direction? Are they saying that people who did use didn’t pop positive or that people who didn’t use got false positives?

I read it as the less informative (false negatives) rate. The other way round would be interesting.

Good thing this came out prior to the criminal case, can’t claim jury taint now.

Surely at this point the poor kids will be / are interviewed about weird powders and such. We will likely never know what actually happened. The kids never being returned would be a decent indicator though.

Good thing this came out now and not during his criminal case. Can’t taint a jury that isn’t selected yet.

So the child that had grugs in her system is part of the 65%, and had a 35% chance to not be caught. Or is it these hair tests need a few weeks/months post drug taking to catch them and can't catch take same day/ same week drug use. Either way iof these was a false positive would it really have such a high measurement?

How long do metabolites stay in the hair? I'm thinking this is the "worst night ever" that Nick mentioned back in January. I doubt it was anything malicious, he probably left the bag out, she found it and decided to ingest some, and both Kayla and Nick had to watch her to make sure she wasn't going to drop dead.

You would think this would have activated some parental instinct, but this is Nick we are talking about here, and his NPD wins out.
