2. Buying food on sale is another easy way to save money.
I get alot of my meats when they are close to the best buy date, my local lidl gives 75% discount on Saturday for Stuff that expires monday. you can freeze it without a problem.
I use super cheap steak for pretty much everything.

Don't be an idiot and buy a BMW.
There are some good older BMWs, but Yes, Merc is superior. My first car was an E-class Diesel. my dad bought it for me when i was 18 for a crate of beer. it was a former Taxi Can with 350k KM. now alot of years later one of my cousins is driving it with 700k Km. I took it around the baltic and crashed it into some Soviet made car i Lithuania, my brother crashed it into a lamp post when he was making a rond around the med and one of my cousins sunk it into a bog. its still running and the engine will run till the sun fades away...

get on food stamps

there was guy on the radio about being a cheap fuck who would "as a joke in minecraft" talk about dumping his shit at the local goodwill then buying it back because company policy was dry clean it all and buying it back was cheaper than paying for dry cleaning
Dry cleaning itself is a scam, they banned all the cool chemicals so now it’s just a really big wash machine somewhere else.

Make excel sheet with your starting balance on Sunday.
Plan out how much you owe in bills and other debts
Make sure that's taken care of every month and plan down to the week you need to pay that bill
Spend accordingly, tracking it in the excel sheet
Quit alcohol
Eat mostly potatoes, cabbage, and meat
buy gold for long term savings
????
Literally profit

I agree. Budgeting is absolutely critical. Without accounting and budgeting, balancing income and expenses becomes almost impossible.

Here's another tip I do to save money, in a more literal sense. I set up my bank to automatically take X amount of dollars from my checking account and put it into my savings account each paycheck. This took the thinking out of it. It made saving money in the sense of actually increasing the total number of dollars stored away in the magic number machine at the bank totally effortless.

That's very true. The dry cleaning solvents that I used for specialized jobs are no longer being used.

I was licensed bonded and insured and I handed some incredibly expensive carpets in my life time. I was that good because I was that careful in the cleaning process. The way they clean those 3 to 15 thousand dollar Persian carpets now horrifies me a bit.

  • Don't take loans
  • Don't get the newest iphone or gaming system
  • Visit grocery stores about 1 hour after they open and check the "almost" expired section. The grocery store workers need about an hour to check all the food items for expiration. Buy the cheap meat and store it in your freezer.
  • Always check reviews before making a purchase

Learn how to repair your own electronics/appliances, there is 0 point paying a shop for labor when half the time they're just hiring retards who have the technical knowledge of a chimp. Parts are cheap as shit and you learn to value what you have instead of looking for ook ook new shiny.

and then make it a job so you can get paid to repair electronics of idiots who wont

brilliant move

Assign yourself a value, do math out if your worth the time money to save some.

I know far too many people who will drive 20 miles in a 15 mpg car, taking 30 mins to save a dollar on something.

Lots of good advice, but a key to saving money is seeing what "saving" is costing you. For a more simple idea, think sure I can live off ramen noodles but how much is this effecting my health and me losing else where?

Some tips that I have done in the past and currently use at times.

1. Plan out your driving when you go out to grab your groceries/weekly items you pick up.

2. Buy in bulk however plan what you need when you buy. Recently I purchased 23 pounds of Chuck roast. I brined it then cut it up into sections for meals. In a meal rotation, this purchase of meat will last around 6 months for 2 people as of course we won't be eating chuck roast every single day.

3. Get a chest freezer. This will save you a great deal of money when you buy produce in bulk.

4. Thrift Towns are your friend Do you really need to spend $100 or more per month just on clothing(yes this is a fact here in the US and in Europe)?

5. Get a used car over new. Look into last years models in a rental fleet. You will save thousands and have a low mileage car. A used car with 30 thousand miles on it is where I purchase vehicles.

6. Cook at home and brown bag it to work. COOKING is an excellent skill to have and learn. It's okay to go to eat out 1 day out of the week but the rest of the time eat at home... and brown bag it to work. I never did gave a fuck on anyone else about me brown bagging and I never will. Because I'm now rich and they, I know... are not.

7. Repair things on your own and don't be afraid of failing.

True story. 2 years ago my neighbor threw away an expensive Hamilton Beach Coffee maker. Ask him if I could have it. He told me that it was leaking water everywhere. I carefully took it apart. Found out the problem (busted plastic clear tubing) and replaced it. The cost was $2 at the time and in return I got a nice coffee maker and saved me $90 in the process. The same thing goes for my Chest freezer. It was a throw away. Looked on line on how to fix chest freezers and saved money in the process. I SAVE MONEY BY FIXING THINGS (instead of buying brand new) so I can use it for myself.

8. LIVE WITHIN YOUR MEANS!!!. This is where 80 to 85% of people fail once they have money to live well off. They WILL overspend thinking that the money will never end and in 5 to 10 years down the road they are broke. You can not think that way. You have to make sure that once you have that wealth that it will last for the rest of your life. This means watching your finances for the rest of your life. If you do you will live in the comfort that I live in now.

Never having to worry about bills and mortgages for the rest of your life.

9. Every penny counts. Yes I will pick up a penny on the ground because every penny counts. It really does. Every penny saved is a penny towards your financial freedom. Saving what you earned helps as well.

Example: As you are well aware of I posted that I worked in a Titty Bar from 1988 to 1992. I took home $150.00 a week. This money I just placed it in box and left it alone. Out of Sight.... Out of mind. People thought I was crazy but was a wonderful part time job that I have fond memories (yay titties.... titties everywhere). Besides I was going to the bar anyhow, I might as well get paid for it.

In those 4 years I saved all of that money (over 24 grand). It gave me the additional leverage of starting to invest into index and mutual funds in the Dot.com era as well as getting into income investment properties.

The moral of the story is that even though it was a shitty amount, setting aside the money for a later date down the road will yield dividends. MOST people however will spend this small amount away as soon as they earn it, never thinking that years down the word they would have 10's of thousands of dollars in their savings.

10. Don't be ashamed in what you do. Hell I used to go to the country club and tell people that I cleaned shitters for a living... or pushed a broom, or brown bagging body parts for money and profits.

And I'm not ashamed at all on I have done in my work history. Because at one time I was a homeless Mulatto struggling to survive. Now I'm a wealthy Mulatto in the 90%+ wealth bracket. Fuck those people who look down at blue collar work.... Who looked down at those who took vocational classes to get ahead in life. And fuck peer pressure as well. They are just fucking jealous that you got the money.... and they don't.

Yea I'm wealthy, but it took hard work, saving money, watching my finances so I could retire at a young age and continuing to do so here on out..

As stated before I'm VERY happy living a middle class lifestyle. I'm not a fancy type of person nor do I want to be. So the Pictures below are in my case are correct.

Other than what has been posted... good luck in saving your money.

Learn to cook inferior pieces meat.
Everyone wants a steak but if you know what you're doing and cook it for a long time even inferior pieces can be great.
By inferior I don't mean shitty meat just pieces people do not usually buy or crave

Cook shit in batch and freeze it. It's really useful to have a 0 effort under 15 minutes shit you can cook.
