My 32 inch 165hz viewsonic monitor's backlight died a month after the warranty expired. Is there an easy DIY fix or is it so joever for me?

Feel very stuck with monitor options currently.
I got some neat 2k IPS displays for 2018. The standard has definitely sped up to people having 27" 2k displays as well.
But now I want to get ahead of the curve again and thats looking like 32" 4k displays this time and that jump in price is pretty huge for nicer displays.

For reference costco is selling 27" 2k OLEDs for around $350 but the 4k 32" OLED they started selling in the last week is $900

That's actually a thing that has been around for ages. Big screens are expensive, small screens are cheap. It doesn't seem to matter how much it costs to produce them: If you want a big screen on your desk, you gotta pay up. Or perhaps the smaller ones really are that cheap to produce?

a lil bump but i haven't been able to find a gigabyte M32Q, though the monitor is a bit old at this point, however i've been getting LG Ultragear 24GS65F-B 24-inch ads and i'm getting a bit conflicted, sure i want a 32" to enjoy my table real estate but all of the M32's i've been offered are the GS32QCA which has a VA panel rather than a IPS like the M32Q and the ultragear, even though both are 180hz and my pc does stand in a place that a VA monitor would make reading a bit hard.

edit time is over but i found a second hand 27gs60f-b, it was an alright price since the guy wanted to get rid of it, i tested and it's working fine via displayport since it is 1.4 and my RVII has 1.4a ports, good bang for my buck, and it's IPS.

edit
DARKNESS IS SO FUCKING BRIGHT, IPS BABY WHOOO LET THERE BE LIGHT, also the monitor is 1080p, if i wanted a 1440p with 180hz i'd need to pick a 27GS75QX-B, still, good money since they usually go by 210$, i gots it for like 115$.

I've been noticing that Mini-LED and OLED seem to be advancing to the point where in a few years the differences may be a moot point. (MiniLED fixing blooming and Refresh), (OLED brightness and burn in).
