Lord of the Rage Quit finally gets his own trailer


I'm hoping one of his alternate costumes is his classic bone helmet.

Official Switch trailer just released.


Firstly, I am really curious how this game is gonna work on Switch, given that the Switch is far weaker than the PS4 or Xbone. The trailer doesn't look like it has less intensive graphics or a lower framerate, but it is a trailer after all and you know it's trying to make it look as good as possible. Guess we'll see when it's out.

Also some more little story teases. And a great Johnny moment too.

Lower framerate would fuck the gameplay hard. My prediction is that they downgraded the graphics and the resolution (probably runs @ 720p).

But for a Switch port, it does look really good.
 
Probably looks better than many other PS4-to-Switch ports because even though NRS has claimed that it’s modified to the point that it’s basically a separate branch, the game still technically runs on UE3, a PS3-era engine. Meanwhile, I’m guessing the Sonic Forces engine was made with PS4 in mind, so the game wound up looking and running like ass on Switch

NetherRealm Studios has just really fallen way off the bandwagon of political incorrectness. Everything about Mortal Kombat 11 seems to be a preachy, Liberal-infused, Left-leaning, regressive piece of propaganda. From the women being dressed like they’re Caliphate-compliant, to the men being dressed like they’re ready to audition for the disabled mutant version of Magic Mike, Mortal Kombat 11 is a complete and utter disgrace as far as edgy, counter-culture content is concerned. Heck, in an alternate reality it would probably be mocked endlessly from top to bottom in a parody of offensive jokes and grotesque satire from a proper Mortal Kombat game. But here, in clown world, NetherRealm decided to lay all their Social Justice Warrior-influenced cards on the table, putting politics before profit in a number of ways, one of which includes Jax Briggs’ Tower Ending in Mortal Kombat 11.
YouTuber Lost Ambush ashamedly let loose the Klassic Tower Ending for Jax Briggs ahead of the actual release of Mortal Kombat 11, and you can check it out for yourself below.

The reason I say Lost Ambush was ashamed of the ending was because they were too scared to read the opinions of real gamers after seeing the like/dislike ratio getting hammered by people downvoting the ending into oblivion.

So they responded by completely disabling the comment section on the video in hopes of keeping people from discussing the ending and railing on NetherRealm for getting woke and kowtowing their creative content to the kakistocratic coterie of the Intersectional Inquisition.
In a separate video Lost Ambush explains why he decided to disable the comments on the video in the comment section of the Johnny Cage ending video.

There’s a simple solution to preventing people from trolling the content:
Don’t get woke.
So the general gist of the ending is that in Jax’s Tower Ending, he defeats Kronika and uses the power of time manipulation to force black people out of slavery and makes them rulers of the world because, according to Jax, he’s done waiting for “people to get woke”.

He doesn’t care about things like the Armenian genocide, the Dagestani massacres, the Libyan slave trade, the Rwanda tribal cleansing, the Red and White Terrors, or the various attempts to wipe out the Kurds, no he wanted to make sure that he and his people were kings.
As some people pointed out, it’s basically a recreation of Wakanda from Black Panther.
It’s almost like some ignorant, racist, regressive Liberal wrote that ending. But that’s to be expected since SJWs are the most racist people on the planet.
It definitely seems like NetherRealm took a very pro-military, pro-family, pro-ethics soldier like Jax, who was a by-the-books commander, and turned him into a bleeding heart symbol of regressive Liberalism. It doesn’t seem to fit in with the continuity or consistency for the way the character has been portrayed in his previous incarnations of Mortal Kombat either. NetherRealm decided to throw away his past characterization in order to preach their wokeness, further diminishing the integrity of the Mortal Kombat brand in favor of proselytizing to the masses.
Who would have figured that the most outrageous and boundary-pushing franchise from the 1990s would be gunning to be as politically correct and “woke” as possible in [current year]?

all the new MK games are so stupid and half the attacks look like fatalitys I wouldn't be suprised if one of scorpions attacks was ripping someones spine out and they just get back up.

I'm glad Jax could finally achieve his lifelong dream of creating an all-black utopia. "I'm sorry, Sonya and Liu, I know you've both saved by ass numerous times, but I just can't have your pale-ass ethnicities diluting by global society of Kangz". I bet 15 good boy points Jacqui's ending is her making out with Cassie while Takeda is sitting in a cage in the other end of the room, furiously masturbating while also letting out the occasional quiet, bitter sob.

Joking aside, at least this woke shit didn't make its way into the main story to a huge degree. NRS has been slipping some Wokeness in here and there ever since (I think) Injustice 2 for them to look cool ad hip, lik when Green Lantern called Green Arrow and SJW and the idiot took it was a compliment. Hopefully these occasional virtue signallings will be kept at a minimum in the future though, otherwise the eventual MK12 will end in all the straight white characters getting erased from reality.

As for the story mode though, it wasn't too bad, at the very least it was better than that of MKX. Kinda glad they've actually managed to redeem my boy Scorpion a bit, in my opinion he was pretty much ruin in MK2011 and especially MKX by making him a pissy dumbass with a temper who causes everything to go worse just so the plot can move forward. I'll probably wait with buying the game till a Komplete edition comes out for the PC, hopefully by then the game meta will develop into something a little less slow and restricted.

Kinda makes me wonder if this did as a trojan parody, a meaningless sop to the woke crowd that still manages to repulse the rest of the actual fanbase so bad they'll never do this again and can use the bad reaction to this as an excuse. Either that, or it's stealth mocking such inane bullshit by portraying something so hilariously out of character in a place it won't affect the actual plot.

Either way, I find it too silly to get mad over.

I... just wanted a Mortal Kombat game.

Just give me a handful of fighters in stupid costumes that beat the shit out of each other and on occasion violently murder each other with trees and spike pits and trains and turn into dinosaurs or something, I don't care.

I didn't ask for political statements or a finger wagging about racial or sexual politics.

I'm playing a fucking game with a dude that shoots lightning out of his hands and ninjas fighting robots because I WANTED FUCKING ESCAPISM from the shit I have to see every single fucking day.

Fucking Christ, at this point I'm fully expecting Johnny Cage to point at the screen and say, "Listen and Believe!"

Well... as it is, my gf wanted to try out this game since she and I really like MKX. I'll let you know how many times the game goes out of its way to brow beat the audience.
