Or could it simply be that Tarl doesn't want his private life (airing his dirty laundry) out in the public.

Imagine making some half lie defense speech to a random judge - For that to be everlasting in the public eye, and domain?
A speech where you had to compromise your spirit in order not to be found guilty, and basically be strategic and humble/pathetic, in order to get off. (it`s just very private, is it not?)

He would be ridiculed forever for it.
He might be too proud for that I am thinking. It could also be the piss test? Who knows?

What are the rules about posting his court hearings after he is sentenced and found guilty?
Will the warnings against doing it still stand?
Will it be allowed then?

To me personally, its bonkers that people from the internet can follow and attend a personal trial-case regarding domestic issues online, or in person. (amusing as it may be). We are not talking about a traffic fine here.

Its not legal where I from. Your name wouldn't even appear anywhere if you asked the lawyer beforehand to make a name-ban for you. People wouldn't even be able to look the case up, unless they had your social security number, and many more personal details. Implicated names of witnesses, or victims, circumstances, places, would still be obscured, even if having all these other personal details above. And it certainly wouldn't be streamed online!

It might be very humbling to have all sorts of strangers following something this personal to him?
Domestic situations are of very personal caliber.

What else is the legal system supposed to do? Not have criminal cases made public? Are you okay with not knowing that a sex offender just moved onto your street? Or that a guy who has a lengthy criminal background is at it again?

I'm not trying to get involved in your spat and I don't really have much opinion on it aside from the fact that I have little sympathy for people who get themselves into court for stupid shit. It is a public institution, publicly funded, and I think the public generally has a right to inspect its results as they wish. Don't want to get into court? Don't do stupid shit. It can't always be avoided, but c'est la vie.

I gave up on her a few weeks ago when everything seemed to turn up for her, and she had to start lashing out when people told her that she might just consider smoking less weed in order to move forward. She enjoys where she is and she'll fight to be where she is because she's comfortable there.
