Makoto Itou from School Days.

Like yeah, he was an indecisive cheater who very much should have broken up with Katsura much sooner and was scummy for telling Sekai to get an abortion, but I question if that really warrants him deserving to be stabbed to death in the end? I always felt as though every girl in the end turning their backs on him and socially isolating him was a more fitting punishment for his selfishness.

Then again, I always viewed Sekai as being equally at fault for the whole mess as Makoto. But, I think slashing her throat and cutting her up as punishment for that is also a bit excessive contrary to what the A-Logs say.

The only character imo who deserved to get Kotonoha’d was Taisuke, but he’s a karma Houdini and never gets killed off. He’s an actual rapist but I almost never see him get nearly the same level as vitriol as either Makoto or Sekai do. Neither does Otome for egging on Taisuke into being a rapist, for that matter.

I don’t know anything about the School Days visual novels, though, so maybe they’re both even worse in those.

It is bizarre but not enough to recommend wasting your time reading over 100 chapters of it. Just enough to read the summaries and question what the fuck the author is thinking.

Anyway I'm counting kazuya cause how obnoxious people tend to be with their hatred of him to the point of ignoring how the other characters aren't much better and has this thing for worshipping "chad mcs".

I'm no fan Kazuya, but it gets annoying with how unhing people get at the mere mention of him.
I never subscribe to the idea that anyone that hates kazuya only do cause they're just like him.
That's only a defense use, but people reinforces it with how him just being there is enough to make them unravel.
