All Avatar is to me is a special effects fest. Admittedly a fairly impressive special effects fest, but still just that.

Any snuff films and Mondo films. Same with red room films and the like. I can handle your ordinary slasher and maybe some other shit but I would say my breaking point for watching movies would be stuff like Cannibal Holocaust and Green Inferno.

Requiem for a Dream. I watched that movie all the time during some of the worst years of my life. I probably will never watch it again.

Seriously though, I have no desire to see that film and I don't even want Netflix to have me on record clicking on it, even by accident. I want nothing to do with whatever that is.

I also second Requiem for a Dream but for a completely different reason. Jennifer Connelly was one of my major crushes when I was a kid, and I know about the stuff she does in that movie, and I just can't see one of my childhood crushes as a drugged up whore, even if it is just acting.

One movie I vow to never watch is the cartoon Felidae. Just reading the descriptions of it makes me gag. If the characters in it were human and live action, it'd be a gorefest as infamous as A Serbian Film and Salo: 120 Days of Sodom. I also don't want to watch other disturbing cartons like Plague Dogs or Watership Down, even though they don't sound nearly as bad as Felidae.

I don't have a particular desire to see any Quenton Tarantino movies, even though people say they're good. I just don't think I'm the target audience for them. QT puts just enough artsy stuff and stylish cultural homages into his work to keep from being a creepy moviemaker who publishes his own wank/fetish material. I also think his fame owes a lot to him ruffling the feathers of the moral guardians of the 1990's. There's nothing a film critic loves more than something that's artistically important and that pushes degeneracy.

Anything modern american horror (2013- ). Most of it is just generic and not in a fun way like shitty cg japanese/chinese/korean horror which i might add actually does psychological horror well.

Anything by expoldy man michael bay. The transformers movies are nothing but shit and it only makes me want the 80's cartoon to come back.

Tim burton, Nightmare before christmas stopped being good when i became 8. His other shit pales in comparison with billy and mandy when it comes to dark humor. Also his batman movie sucked eggs.

I agree. What I dislike about modern horror movies and shows is how over hyped that fans and websites like Bloody Disgusting treat them as something revolutionary when in fact they're average at best.

The one movie I would never see will be Terminator: Dark Fate. Both Terminator and Terminator: Judgement Day are my favorite movies and have seen the non-James Cameron Terminator movies and T.V. series, and they were all terrible. Not only does Dark Fate amp up what I dislike about the sequels, but they killed off John Connor and that's basically the main character to the story. No John, no viewing.

I've seen Felidae, which I looked up out of sheer morbid curiosity.

Its actually a decent little detective story, but with cats, and it'd probably be more widely accepted if it wasn't so needlessly gory in spots. It also has a very awkward sex scene between two of the cats that is both weird and hilarious.
