Honestly my main issue is looks like something produced for Youtube. I'm reminded of the various "anime openings for-" that are out there.
10 years ago it would be okay. Now it looks cheap.

In a cosmic way none of this surprises me.
Superman has suffered from the release of The Dark Knight Returns #4's release in 1986 when he got punched out by the aged Batman. That specific incident was fine because both it took an ACTUAL plan and the idea of Batman punching out Superman was a fresh idea. But ever since, concurrent with society's ever cynical tone, meant Superman became less of an actual character and more just a force of nature and obstacle for Batman to power through, who instead became the darling through DC and WB's increasing obsession with "maturity" from TDKR and Watchmen, buttressed by the smash success of the '89 movie and '92 Animated Series.
This is reflected in a meta way by the media he gets, too - Batman is never subjected to such strong "reimaginings", never gets regulated to a CW show (even if outside CW teen drama and writing quality they clearly like Superman as a character, genuine credit due) or even TV show in general, and you'll never see him or his major characters get raceswapped or turned into faux-anime or slice-of-life or whatever. Superman used to be a bigger deal than Batman - who was ALWAYS a big deal himself, don't let retards tell you he was suffering in popularity and iconic status despite some low-selling periods for his comics only - but now he's finally joining his fellow Justice Leaguers in just being another IP to trot out to give someone else not-Batman a shot at maybe some popularity or keep their name semi-relevant in pop culture.
What a depressing fall from grace.

That was the Japan before the dark times that began when Gundam Wing and Final Fantasy 7 brought the proto-fujoshi female demographic and $$$ into the once male dominated manga, anime and gaming spheres. Although this was much more of a cultural shift outside of Japan than in Japan itself. As before the dark times nobody in and outside of Japan really cared how the male and female mangakas drawn the men.

It's not so much the trap aspect. It's more that she looks borderline pre-teen. With the fact that Lois is the more experienced reporter as default she should look older than Clark (though looking younger than Superman is fine) even if she is not.
The picture makes her look like the damn manic pixie dream girl stereotype.

Now that you mention it now i can't not see it.
Here's another shot. Thin legs, arms, no discernable hips, barely any chest. You could make the hair work if you had either of the two, but you don't. She is very kid like if not for her choice of clothing putting her in at least college. Thing is the men are fine. Supes may be a bit more UwU but he's still a brick shit house, and Jimmy at least is built like a man, albeit a office jocky, but he has the shoulders.

This is one of my favorite scenes of batman "fighting" superman.
There's no kryptonite, there's no plan. Batman just throws everything he's got and superman gets mildly annoyed before immediately neutralizing him.
Supes is kinda a goofy asshole in this, but I do like how they actually gave him a lot of character development in the sequels
As for this cartoon... I think it looks cute.

That opening has this interesting early 00's vibe to it. It felt like FLCL in a good way. I'm going at least watch the first episode. Legit curious on this one.

I guess studio Mir is the one for Americans go to for "anime style" now. Maybe Avatar the last airbender was a mistake.
They basically use the same art style for Voltron legacy defender, you know that show spawns faggotry shipping fandom and one voice actress, Bex Taylor Klaus, goes full they/them and top surgery. I mean there should be that Voltron thread buried in community section on here.
Unironically, this Lois Lane is like teenage female version of Lance in Voltron.
Pretty much Lois looks androgynous this way, for special gender self-insert, headcanons or whatever.
And Superman is the manly looking character like Shiro.
