Why does he have a katana in the first place?

I've got a couple swords, but they aren't cheap wall hangers like his. One is a family heirloom and is a Civil War Union Officer's Saber that was issued to one of my ancestors. Sadly things like Anime, Highlander, the Walking Dead, and many other mediums have convinced nerds that the Katana is the be-all-end-all when it comes to edged weapons. Frankly I'll take my firearms over a sword any day.
Doubt he actually knows how to swing a katana. There is a trick to it, as the blades are quite fragile in reality. They are made of pig iron, not steel. One good swing and it would break. I'd prefer a fire axe during a zombie apocalypse. Effective, sturdy and quite the multitool.

I'll admit to watching Power Rangers to my friends (the existence of bronies helps), but I'm not going to defend my actions like this bozo. It's not deep or life-changing. It's people in spandex fighting guys in monster suits, with bad to okay acting, and sometimes has a decent story. I like it because it helps me relax and syncs with my childhood nostalgia.

I'd take a Zombie Tools blade over anything else. High carbon spring steel and the guys that make them build them to be USED, not to hang on a wall. They did a torture test of one of their blades, chopping 55gal oil drums, concrete highway dividers, stuff like that...they nicked the blade a bit, but nothing that a little time with a file and wet stone wouldn't fix.

That guy that stalked Tiffany in that documentary once waited for her outside a courthouse with flowers a sword when she was going through her emancipation trial.

Re: Bronies pic on Imgur/Reddit

I'd say fake swords considering the county fair doesn't have a stall dedicated to My Little Pony.

Bronies are the easiest people in the world to troll. They're so fucking hypersensitive about everything.

This is real.
ED Article:https://encyclopediadramatica.es/Brony
Definition from Encyclopedia Dramatica:
Bronies are the self-titled obsessive fanboy watchers of the television show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, usually adult men who channel their latent homosexuality and/or daddy issues by watching a show which has an audience bracket that consists of little girls. These basement dwelling sacks of neckbeard flesh latched their grubby hands onto everything pony as soon as they heard the whimsical theme-tune drift through their hairy ears. Bronies smothered themselves with all things related to the show, and spread their sick fetishism throughout the internet, declaring themselves the new collective of asperger ridden no-lifes on the block.
Essentially, bronies are a rehash of the 2007-era furry community. This is true not only in the sense that their fandom revolves around anthropomorphic cartoons, they also have conventions for "mascoting" (see: fursuit) and are notorious for exchanging sexually themed images of children's shows, but also have the same persecution complex that furries are so well known for. Thus, bronies quickly rose to prominence as some of the favorite victims of the trolling community, right up next to Freenode opers and anime bloggers.

FUN FACT: Pedophiles will often pretend to have an interest in children's toys and shows to make young girls and boys feel more comfortable around them. Use this information however you want.

THE FBI HAS BEEN REQUIRED TO INFORM YOU THAT THE POSTER OF THIS TOPIC HAS BEEN OBTAINED FOR DOMESTIC TERRORISM DUE TO HIS PERSECUTION OF THE INNOCENT AND COMPLETELY NORMAL MY LITTLE PONY FANDOM

It's about time Bronies get their own thread. Since there are several minor lolcows out there in the brony fandom.

I don't really give a shit about Bronys, some are pretty spergy though.

I think I'm in love with #2. Damascus steel is has a very good rep too, but it is pretty expensive to get a decent sized blade,

I've probably said it before, and I'll say it again. I used to be a brony. Well, okay, I wasn't really a brony. I called myself one, but I only watched the show on occasion. Eventually, I just became disinterested in the show after realizing that I was forcing myself to like it. Honestly, the show is seriously overrated. I don't get why people think it's some of Lauren Faust's best work. I saw an episode of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends a few weeks ago, and I thought it was hilarious. I saw an earlier episode of MLP:FiM a few days ago (some of my friends wanted me to see it), and I didn't think it was funny at all. Why do adults find it entertaining, and how is it pr0n fuel? Oh, right.

I also find it funny how some bronies say that MLP teaches you life lessons. The stuff that's taught in the show is stuff they're teaching 6 year-olds. If you're in your twenties and you need to learn shit like sharing and 'the power of friendship,' then you're a fucking idiot.

These class speeches are growing more and more common. People seriously believe it's something that should be educated.

The sad thing is it will be, in psychiatric institutions

One thing I have to applaud Hasbro on, they've clearly decided to milk this cow till it's teat is dry. They've pretty much acknowledged it's appreciated that they've gotten so much business from outside their target demographic.

Check out their whole website. There are several I'm planning on getting and their prices are excellent for being hand made custom blades.

I look at cloppers the same way I look at middle-aged mothers reading their teenaged daughters' Twilight books and getting turned on. I've got a few friends who are Bronies and have goaded me into watching their favorite episodes. My son, who is 5, has also put on a few episodes while I've been around. It's a cute show, but I think this adult fan-base is...well...just read the pic in my sig.
