Also, people are clamoring to know what's going on here. Because of Canadian privacy laws, we're not going to know anything unless someone physically goes to the courthouse and views the document. FFG is going to make an insane amount of money from doing this, Nader will be epically butthurt when he finds out, and we'll all get to enjoy hearing about how a real POS is cooling his heels in jail. Win-win-win, really, especially since Nader and DD would prefer to hide this from everyone by claiming they "broke up."

I want to believe they came up with this plan when he called her collect from jail the day after the arrest. Him shouting garbled instructions into one of those dirty wall-mounted jail phones, her drunkenly taking notes. Other inmates squabbling behind his shriveled meth body, occasionally glancing towards their buck toothed cell mate.
Does he have the right to contact with the Egyptian embassy under Canadian law? In the US, I'm pretty sure we'd be required to notify the embassy and allow them to monitor his jailing and his case since he's a non-citizen.

If Yaba had any integrity...I'm not even going to bother completing that sentence for obvious reasons. But any reactor with brains or class will give credit where credit is due. It's going to make Yaba look stupid as hell when she inevitably won't even give FFG a begrudging nod on this one.

Monty, aka Stories from the Internet has published a stream with claims that he contacted the crown prosecutor's office in Nader's case and received information about Nader's charges. I would take this with your daily allowance of sodium until it can be confirmed. French Fried Gorl is also attempting to get info about the charges in person on Monday.
Monty says the eight charges Nader is facing are
"266(a), 267(a), 267(b), 267(a), 267(b) again, 267(a) again, 266(a), 264 01 and 264 03." I think he might have accidentally repeated or misread one of them.
As best I can figure, that boils down to multiple charges of assault, multiple charges of assault with a weapon or causing bodily harm, one charge of uttering threats and one charge of criminal harassment.
Did Stebby (allegedly) get his groove back?

He's so stupid and arrogant, I bet he made repeated threats online in addition to whatever happened in person. That would give him the uttering threats and criminal harassment charges.
That catagory is sentenced up to 10 years. It's highly unlikely to result in consecutive charges, if it's from the same incident, but he'll probably get more than his prior 2 yr sentence even in a softy Canadian plea deal. Five charges of the same thing is no joke.
Additionally, a conviction under 267a or 267b automatically places him in danger of deportation:
Big if true. From the links you posted the 267a (3 charges) are "carries, uses or threatens to use a weapon or an imitation thereof," and the 267b (2 charges) are "causes bodily harm to the complainant".

The other charges are serious too, but it's the 267s that will kick his ass right back to Egypt after another prison stint. His only hope is getting all those charges dropped in favor of something like the simple assault charge (max 5 yrs).

FFG went to the courthouse and discovered ElStabby will remain detained until his next court appearance. The charges seem very serious but we'll have to wait until she streams tonight for all the info.

Let's hope Montreal's prosecutor's office is feeling the heat on the refugee/migrant backlash growing in Canada.
