Do not take the "10k wasted" as anything. Cosmo did not spend, lose, or anything else $10k. Any of you that believe he came into a bunch of money from crypto are just....well I won't go there. But it's not true. Cosmo needs to live in a fake world where he is admired/awesome, and part of that, even though he hates capitalism, is that he's well off or at least self sufficient. It's why when he moved back w hi parents that he stopped streaming for so long. It's why he drops big numbers all the time to make people think he has $$. Remember how he spent $7-8k moving in the last few months? Remember how he doesn't have ANY of the shit that matters most to him, like even a way to stream himself playing his beloved switch? He lives in a barren studio, again, with all of his belongings either having been sold/pawned or still at his parents' house.
Yume Tea "helped get him set up with the apartment." Which most likely means he paid for a bunch of stuff and co-signed. Cosmo's former friend and now arch nemesis CXMU bought Cosmo some "stuff he needed". If Cosmo was really a crypto wizard he wouldn't need that.
