I've always felt that more so than for most trannies, Cosmo sees Narcissa as some kind of alter ego rather than as his actual identity, kind of like in a comic book.

He figured the documentary wasn't a good time for Narcissa to come out though, she isn't good at giving interviews because she'll probably get bored and try to domme the interviewer and he'll wind up falling in love with her or something and the whole documentary will fall apart and everyone will be mad, so he showed up as his humble and mild mannered Cosmo Wright identity, like Clark Kent showing up to the Daily Planet in his suit and glasses.

But rest assured, if the situation called for it Cosmo would run into the nearest dilation station, and out would come Narcissa ready to save the day! ...so gay, my god.

I don't wanna be the person to defend Cosmo of all people, but relationship PTSD and adultery PTSD are incredibly real things that the entire world ignores (in part thanks to globohomo "sex positivity"). Adultery is a form of sexual trauma to the point where I'm disturbed it's even legal.

Cosmo has not gotten any kind of professional help regarding this. I don't want to PL but I really, REALLY, understand the non-tranny parts of his mindset where he got so broken by a person that he had to dissociate entirely from who he was at the time.

Cosmo has been spiraling and doing incredibly dumb shit like the Twitch shooting threats that there's no defense or sympathy for. But it all started with this cheating ex situation and the (likely ignored and undiagnosed) trauma he carries over it.

Narcissa is a textbook example of what can happen when one doesn't let go and move the fuck on. You seethe for years in literal and spiritual squalor, wasting away in your own self-made prison while the world goes on without you.
This is what happens when you take coping, seething, and dilating to its most extreme conclusion. Took a golden opportunity to really make something of himself and pissed it all up the wall because he's too much of a fag to get help after a single breakup that he's had years to move past.

"nothing i can do to make it better" my ass, dude. If you're that defeatist about the whole thing just kill yourself now and spare us all the theatrics. There are things he could start doing tomorrow that would put him on the path to recovery, but he won't do it because therapy is hard and he'd have to take time out of his speedrunning and drug taking schedule.

Getting cheated on sucks, absolutely, but after a certain point he has no one to blame but himself for the hole he's dug himself into. He's had countless opportunities to get help, but refused because he's addicted to being a victim, drugs, and Soylent.

You're the personification of giving up, Narcissa, and I doubt you will ever prove me wrong on that.
