I got to 33:28 in the documentary because that was when my free transfer ran out. It was so creepy how Cosmo is portrayed as a video game princess in the animated sections and how they retcon his past to make him seem like a feminine child. It's literally Orwellian rewriting of history. Cosmo was just a typical geek boy who got teased like all kids, especially geeky kids, do. Boo hoo, it's not your bullies' fault that you ended up this way! It was also really telling how they portrayed the criticism directed at him as ugly video game monsters and him as the princess bravely fighting the monsters. Not only does it show his utter unwillingness to learn from his mistakes and improve, but it's also DARVO. Cosmo is a literal gendergoblin who's acting out in ways unacceptable for an adult his age, and normal people are naturally repulsed and put off by that behaviour. It truly is narcissism and main character syndrome, attitudes probably attained by years of doing nothing but playing video games as the main character and hero. If this documentary was meant to portray Cosmo in a sympathetic or even neutral light, it utterly failed -- it only made me hate him. I swear, this documentary could be a PSA for the anti-video-game crowd. Video games may not have created a bunch of school shooters, but they absolutely have created a generation of pathetic, narcissistic deadbeats who live the lives of kings and, like any cruel monarch, whine that their amazing treatment and privilege is never enough.

First of all, Cosmo was a reason I created account on twitch, just so I could follow the stream more easily - just making this point that I'm not some random guy who stumbled across this movie by accident. I wasn't a fanboy by any means, but really enjoyed having him in the background during OOT / WW era.

The movie was just boring I guess?

We're bombed with shit ton of really meaningless BOTW gameplay, no real narrative, a lot of "filler" content.
Of course the narrative that it was the transition that made people hate Narcissa (it definitely was a part of it - but a small one IMO) and not the antics was there.
The animations I liked, they were fitting, I also liked (and found them sad) the fragments from the childhood.
But generally speaking I was yawning all the way through.

I am a little ashamed to say I watched the whole thing. It is so full of copium, its unreal. At the end, during the kid video flashback, I don't know if he's reading from his mom's POV, but "Best of a generation, brilliant, talented", more like best of autism. I got pretty strong munchausen by proxy vibes too. Anyway, his mom failed at raising a normal human being. The puke part was pretty kino

From the looks of it. I doubt he would ever get a job because job positions usually won't tolerate such manchildish behavior.

It's kinda wild that a cow who just recently had a feature length documentary released about him can't even stay on the front page.

Some thoughts about the documentary:

- The spontaneous puking was by far the best moment.
- Cosmo wondering why he only had 200 viewers when he beat the world record was pretty funny too. Felt like the moment it sank in the old days are not coming back.
- D_Girl seems like a much more interesting person than Cosmo.
- Did he really get banned for streaming porn? As I recall he threathened to shoot up the twitch HQ and that's why he was banned. Was it whitewashing or am I thinking of another episode?
- The animations were just there to make it look slightly more produced than your average youtube doc.
- 90% of the doc is from his stream, there's very little if any unseen footage in the doc.
- His mom seems pretty normal.

All in all a 2/10 experience. Pretty dissapointed.

i was looking the comments on cecyl mcfly's cosmo video because of the dislikes, not many but you can tell there are people not liking it for some reason. and this comment posted 5 days ago appeared. it's from "whispie" (i guess) talking about his relationship with narci, d_girl, the stream on chaturbate, the documentary and he also comments on samandtolki/kiwifarms lying about how things were because we only comment on things we see...?

anyways, it reminded me also how much these creatures crave validation on the internet, instead of moving on with their lives.

Them trying to retcon the Adrian lore despite Cosmo having gone on record multiple times saying that getting cucked by her ruined his life is pretty funny.
