Thank you, I appreciate the support.

And good news is that I'm no longer alone in this.

Several people have helped join my efforts to report Nate, and he's officially on the radar of the Volunteer Spam Task Force, Wikia's personal troubleshooters for this sort of thing, and Wikia Staff in general are more than happy to purge his socks as soon as they are found.

Nate is starting to get really frustrated in his attempts, for the following reasons:

1. Most of the pages he tries to vandalizes are now getting the "edit=autoconfirmed" tag slapped on them, meaning he must have a logged in account with a certain amount of acceptable edits before he can touch those pages, so his IP edits are now useless.

2. He has some sleeper account socks in reserve, but he's blown through what appears to be nearly all of them because he has the subtlely of a brick.

3. The VSTF staff and Wikia's head staff are NOT amused by his death threat spam, which has greatly accelerated the rate at which his socks get the global boot.

so in theory, his obsession may be forcibly ended soon. Where can he go from here once he gets a global ban?

yeah, I sort of thought that. I'm just worried nate will continue to escalate the situation and make death threats until some one presses charges against him and brings up his past behavior and incidents

Alright, update.

Nate seems to have given up for now. Key word: NOW.

He'll be back sooner or later to hassle some other website or even make another crack at Wikia, he just can't help himself, but his mania tends to burn out if you are more effective at shutting his shit down than he is at continuing it, and Wikia's various staff members and several other wikis he hit joined forces and BTFO'ed his bullshit.

His primary tactics in this case was using a VPN service to IP proxy hop, and when wikis shut off IP editing, half his battle plan became useless. The other half became useless when pages he decided to vandalize required an account have a certain number of accepted edit to even touch certain pages, which he pissed his current stock of sleeper socks away on trying to attack.

I'm gonna keep watch for him, he'll find somewhere to make an ass of himself again, but the Wikia siege appears to be over.

The people at that wiki are wisely removing Nate's commentary, but for the interested, I saved a copy of his adamant refusal to believe that I'm male despite my having no reason to lie about that:

I have to admit the most bizarre thing that puzzles me about Nate is this lunatic conspiracy theory I'm a woman.

Granted, my voice has been mistaken for such over a phone before. I've gotten tons of comments from lots of people who have mistaken me for a woman over a phone, which I find bizarre myself, but apparently Nate doesn't seem to realize that phones do distort how one's voice sounds and I apparently have a neutral enough voice that most phones make it sound feminine on the other end.

I don't get that, but it's the only theory I have for why I get confused for a girl over phones.

That said, Nate's evidence for my having female body parts is the sound of my voice heard second hand over a phone and his parents making that mistake and him seizing on it.

If he wants to come to conclusion I go out of my way to report his crazy ass to websites so they can boot him off, guilty as charged. As for the being a woman thing, my internet postings are public information, and he can see I've remained completely consistent with referring to my own gender as male throughout, and I cannot fathom any advantage I would have to fake being a woman nor do I have the slightest interest in pretending to be one.

If we ever met face to face, I'd be happy to clear up the confusion, but given what I know about his mental state, I'm a bit concerned for my safety as well as his (I've been informed by his father he's prone to self-harm during his more irrational moments), so I'd rather avoid that if at all possible, but I still confess being accused of being a secret woman is the most insane thing I've ever been accused of on the internet as of yet.
