Got the information. Apparently Nate stumbled across some skript kiddie site awhile back with malware links you can fuck up people's computers on, and he tricked at least one poor soul on TV Tropes into opening one of the links he sent and it crashed their computer.

In short, he's not smart enough to do it on his own, but if he finds tools made by others, he's a malicious enough shit to use them to hurt others.

What kind of crash? I'm pretty sure something like Last Measure could crash an old system. Actually installing malware or getting IP addresses (like with the old 1x1.jpg trick) would be a little trickier, and actually using that IP address would be beyond him. The guy is mentally challenged.

His videos on his Facebook account show that he's a very "closed off" autist, as in he bundles himself up. I found it tends to a defensive action. Not saying it's because of abuse or anything like that, but think of it as how skittish a bunny is outside. One sharp movement is enough to set them off into a fit. He didn't look like he'd get physical with others, but he could hurt himself while having such a fit. (Seen it happen and one reason why I no longer work with these people, too much work for very little pay)

As I have learned, it's complicated.

Physically, he's in his early twenties.

Mentally, he's at best in his early teens. His profound attachment to the Internet and using it to express itself, according to what his father told me, is because before he discovered it he could barely articulate himself. He has had no formal schooling since he was expelled because he could not control his rages, and thus has largely been self taught.

Based on what I've seen when he is not enraged, his intellectual gifts are considerable given his other problems, it's clear he has some ability to objectively learn, though his learning is of the autistic variety:

Deep and vast in some limited areas, yet horrible ignorance in many others, and while that can be overcome, he has seen no need to do so nor given any reason to try.

Emotionally, however, he's still a young child, and it's this that rules his every action.

His view of this world, based on all my interactions, is that of a child who has refused to adapt to the laws of a civil society because it conflicts with his personal desires, and he's allowed his emotions to dominate him for so long and, apparently, he has never been forced to master them and not the reverse, that as a result, he's never grown past that stage.

He's been sheltered and coddled from any real consequences worse than scolding for his actions, and even that has been mild, as according to his parents, his rages and self harm have been so pronounced they have sacrificed his discipline for his being calm.

Proper medication could help with that. From what I've seen and read he screams anxiety and autism. I find the issues with Nate are equally to blame on his parents, if they were more attentive they could have helped him out so much more. Instead they take the easy route and now look what happened.

Now, I realized his real motives, which are two:

That could be, autistic people with his level of disability do get possessive of things they think are there's. I respectfully retort Mr. Volkov is just bitter he was discussed here himself and is blinded by his own grudge against this place, hence his willingness to say we've goaded Nate into doing activities I have personally counseled Nate were illegal and needed to cease but he chose to do anyway of his own free will.

I cannot see how it would be in the best interests of the Kiwi Farms to incite a mentally ill man to threaten death and grievous harm on other people, try to hire hackers to compromise other websites, or send malicious links to people in the hope it will destroy their computers.

If Mr. Volkov can possibly explain why that would plausibly benefit this place in someway, I'd like to hear it.

Otherwise, I believe I speak for everyone when I say Nate Spidgewood is mentally disturbed, needs intense psychiatric treatment and incarceration for his own safety, and any illegal acts Nate has committed are beyond the pale and should be regarded as crimes to be punished according to applicable law.

I further contend Mr. Volkov is wrong. We have committed no crimes documenting the public actions of a mentally unstable man willing to commit criminal acts, and a public record of such activities merely serves to inform the public should they encounter Nate.

As someone who has personally been harassed and threatened by Nate, I feel pity, as he has a diseased mind in need of dire help, but deleting any public record acknowledging what Nate has done will not stop Nate from doing the actions cited above, and I would advise Mr. Volkov that his personal anger over being discussed here should not blind him to the fact we commit no crimes by discussing the public actions of others, and I personally have advised no one even contemplate the slightest illegal act should be committed Nate, either here or anywhere else.
