Given the male-feminist thing going on here, I'm beginning to suspect that every infraction by a man in this comic is something Winchell has done. This is just his bizarre way of doing penance.
It does make the point that it's basically the same joke over and over again, like those shitty Morning Glory comics that always ended with the absolutely shocking development of the main character calling someone a nigger.
Honestly, I could see this potentially working had the violence all been imaginary within the comic.
The main character would have her violent reactions on how she wants to handle the situation, along with the strawmen making her interpretation of it hyper-exaggerated. In reality, she'd have to handle things on a more down-to-earth level. I think that could at least be somewhat appealing/relatable, perhaps even a bit humorous.
Though that's not to say the comic would automatically be good. The fact it's already a social-justice comic promoting violence makes it pretty insufferable. I just suspect that it would be faaaar less of a bloody pile of shit had it gone down this route.
Ironically, when searching for a random image with the phrase "hyper violence," this was one of the results that cropped up. Wasn't looking for a soc-justice angle to be included, but whatdoya know...

There hasn't been any activity on the Natty website. Facebook page is rarely updated with only a couple of autistic comics on it. Steve-o claimed back in August that he was returning to Natty "soon", but it's been a month later and we still haven't heard anything. He's still fairly active on Twitter and also claims to have a girlfriend now. She bought him a record player for his birthday, apparently.
So, we might not get any Natty content any time soon, but we could easily steer the thread towards more Steve related content, I guess.

Maybe getting a girlfriend made him realise that women aren't all just violent harpies to kill people for tiny faults and are actually just normal people who want to get on with their lives who don't enjoy being pandered to or treated like soft daisy's for their gender.
Before I read this thread, and in turn the author's Twitter, I honestly thought Natty was a parody of all those similarly absurd Tumblr feminist comics, especially because nearly all of them end in the male victims saying crap like "This is justified!" "I deserve this!" "She's right you know!" etc. while being violently attacked by the protagonist.
