The sheer irony of these sorts being offended by anything like that. They go through various pantheons and cultural belief systems to find their favorite goddess like it's a pick and mix. Side question, not to get too far off topic, but why is "Chicanos" back? I hope I'm not doxing myself by saying this, but for a while there that word completely dropped off my radar. It was all "If you're a light-skinned no sabo you're just a white person" and the latinx/latino debate.
It feels like they're trying to claw back the people they used to shit on to add to their numbers, and the people who are going along with it are desperate to have a nonwhite identity.
