Well, both could be true. I recall him being a bit too hands-off with the Truancy forum. He had another guy adminning for him but there was still stuff that he needed to be maintaining with his back end access. What I get from your report is Cerium was always a self-conceited person. When you read the Resetera staff communication, his own words, his general behavior of not engaging with the dirty pleds, tt seems he always was an ass and that might come from his wealthy upbringing and asian-pride (why is it so common ?).

He ticks way too many wrong boxes for an extreme-left kind of guy, he seems more like a champagne socialist.

It's anecdotal, but from my own experience, people that throw around "I don't like to be disturbed" are always huge social ass. If the matter is important or if you need help, you can always disturb a great guy anytime and he will be available to help, even late at night.
