So after extensive analysis (aka reading some of that Joe Rogan thread, most of which has been posted above) I have come to the following conclusions about the Trinity of Bad Engrish:
Slayven - slow and dyslexic for sure, good chance of a brain injury, also stupid
Nepenthe - developmental disabilities from a young age, also stupid, also a furry, is such a bitch her step-dad signed her up for a 84 month loan at 7% on a cheap car
excelsiorlef - too fat fingers for the phone (has said this is how she posts) and also incredibly stupid, goes into some kind of troon rage mode trying to reply to everything even though they haven't even decided what to post, has religious beliefs that oppose the use of the edit function

You'll notice many of the posters seething with impotent rage over Bernie and Joe Rogan said absolutely nothing when Hillary went on Howard Stern a few weeks ago (sure as shit isn't because Stern is any less offensive). Don't you just wonder why that is (blatant hypocrisy)? There's a few similarities between troons and modern feminists, and excelsiorlef is hitting them here:
Believing every interaction with another person is transactional.
Believing every interaction with another person requires a winner and a loser.
Believing that if they're 'losing' an interaction that it was unfair to have the conversation in the first place, even if they started it.
Always avoiding questions and moving goalposts when directly asked questions they don't want to answer.
Demanding the right to vent their anger and emotional baggage in spaces reserved for discussion, and getting angry with people who still wish to discuss things rather than let them blow off steam.
Attacking people, and then claiming victimhood when they respond, no matter how polite or genuine their responses are.
Admitting to behaving in a toxic fashion while simultaneously denying that they're acting in that fashion when someone else points it out, or points out that the behaviour is toxic.
All of these behaviours are incredibly harmful to a place of discussion and conversation if allowed to continue. That he hits every one of those points on the regular and still hasn't suffered a consequence for it is perfectly indicative of what ResetEra is like. And that's not even touching on the troon shield part of the equation - he's just behaving perfectly 'in bad faith', like he and his ilk like to accuse anyone who doesn't agree with them. But because he's a protected class, it's acceptable, even tacitly encouraged.
If histrionic narcissists like this get a toehold in a forum and don't get swatted down for their egregiously anti-social behaviour, find yourself a new place to go. Even if you're willing to engage in a protracted fight with crazies with more free time on their hands than you have, that they have the mods apologising for them means they'll avoid all blame for their behaviour.
At this point, anyone reasonable who stays around ResetEra is doing so knowing full well that the lunatics control the asylum. They should deal with their sunk cost fallacy, cut their ties and move on.

I'd guess these are photos from late 20s to early 30s. Excelsiorlef is now pushing mids 30s at like 36.
