Ironically, I agree with that subject line at least in general. Trump is slightly better than Bush if only because he isn't completely run by the neocons like the Bush Administration was through Dick Cheney.

The latter. Trump has been very progressive when it comes to gender equality, racial equality and not judging people by their sexuality compared to his peers for as long as he's been in the public eye, but he has R next to his name now so he's Hitler.

Looking up the context of how a Star Wars discussion turned into talking about rape (spoiler: it's not about Anakin's mom) didn't make it any less insane, unfortunately.

Jedi mind tricks are now considered rape. When you use force persuasion in KOTOR games you're literally mind-raping people. Suddenly "these are not the droids you're looking for" is a Pornhub video.

While I haven't watched any Star Wars movie since subjecting myself to the prequel trilogy I can say with absolute certainty that there's no chance in hell Disney allowed any kind of implied sexual assault in their movie designed to sell children's toys. This is the kind of insane mental olympics to justify bad storytelling that people did to try and justify the mess that was Mass Effect 3.
