Sledgehammering the case is an acceptable alternative to urinating in it if you want to make an interesting video.

1. You're looking to deep. In the same way they love Disco Elysium for letting you play a commie despite all accounts saying that the game mocks communism constantly, they see cyberpunk as being danger hair trans people (body mods) kicking the shins of greedy capitalist mega corps. It's like when they when they got mad at Far Cry 5 for not being Trump supporter murder simulator.

2. I buy the conspiracy theory that the Wall Street Journal smeared PewDiePie because someone at Maker/Disney wanted to break a binding contract, and to avoid losing their job or getting dragged into a lawsuit, smeared PewDiePie so they could execute their morality clause. The old media was willing to play ball because they see PewDiePie as taking their audience.

ResetEra took that smear and are still running with it.

I say this because Cyberpunk 2077, and CDProject Red in general, have side stepped the usual gatekeepers. It's not Jason Schrier, Jim Sterling, or other game journalists that are getting cameos in Cyberpunk, it's YouTubers. In a way, CP2077 is to games what The Joker was to film or Trump is to politics. The old media establishment needs it to fail, so they are smearing it every chance they get, no matter how flimsy the accusation.

ResetEra either doesn't know or doesn't care that there's a different objective here, and are taking the smears at face value and are twisting them for their own crazy ends.

You can take that a couple of big steps further. CD Projekt is an independent triple-A developer with its own distribution platform. One of the very last independent developers, now that Bethesda is owned by a platform holder. None of the industry's biggest players -- publishers, platforms, retailers -- would shed a tear to see them fail.

I'm rooting for Biden (surprise Restra, not everyone is "alt-right" on the farm), but it's fucking hard to predict. No one can really tell who's going to win.

Biden burned a huge card by calling out Trump on closing borders to China. He was under fire for his weird behavior toward women/children, he probably thought calling Trump a racist toward chinese would gain him woke points back. Now it is biting his ass back and could cost him the presidential race, because regardless of what you think of Trump, closing everything to chinese asap was a good move.

Attacking Trump on the Covid is a dumb move overall. Afterall, that's what people at Resetera are doing and you don't want to follow their dumb tactic under any circumstances. Biden might still win, but it would have been easier by setting Covid aside and attacking Trump on other points.

Trump overcame all odds, even beat Covid like it was a passing shit spray. The old fuck is invincible. Every people who bet against him lose in shame.

So, yeah... Not that easy imo.
