It's been a long time since I've watched South Park but there was an episode in I wanna say season 15, 16 something like that where Cartman discovers he can say whatever offensive shit he wants as long as he hides it under the guise of "just asking questions". That's basically how ResetEra works. You're not allowed to outright call people Nazis for not like Nancy Pelosi but implying they are is 100% fair game. He probably saw that video back this past summer that Henry Cavill did of his own PC build, that computer nerds gushed over and got lots of mentions around the Internet.


I mean I liked it too, the guy could've picked up a phone and said "Have my agent send me a water-cooled alienware PC, stat." and that would've been the end of it, but no, he did it himself.

My only hope for Brad Manning is that he'll slice his wrists on the case edges and we get to see him bleed to death.

Henry Cavill is one of the few celebrities genuinely into gaming. Terry Crews built a PC to better connect with his son. There's few really decent celebrities.

I imagine Manning means that they're going to slowly unbox everything over weeks while taking hundreds of photos/selfies of it all as "the build process" not the actual half hour or so it actually takes.

In Cavill's case he was building his first PC as part of a promise he made, he said he had only bought them before and he got "affectionately mocked" by fellow PC gamers for this. Not to mention the video is only five minutes long because all he does is plug in shit like you'd expect. (After reading all the directions like a dork. Haha, what a loser.)

I have no trouble imagining these speds tweeting AOC about Cyberpunk or pestering her during some dumb stream. In fact, I’d be surprised if it hasn’t happened yet. I interpreted the sanctions bit as being in reference to Poland’s anti-gay laws, not CDPR itself.

Welp, a further trawl through the thread reveals calls for any game with twanzphobia in it to be AO-rated by default.

Lol. What is this, the early 2000s? Nobody gives a shit about age ratings any more. Being rated AO used to be a death sentence because certain chains over in burgerland were all "family friendly" and wouldn't stock them. But now everyone buys games via digital distribution, this isn't a problem.

Also, here in Bongistan, the only rating that might hurt your sales is R18 in cinema, and that's reserved for pr0n, which you can only see in specifically loicensed porno cinemas. (Or pirate over the internets.)

No console maker allows AO-rated games.

The only games that get an AO rating from the ESRB are porn games.

These things are so well-known that even a Brit would be able to find them out in seconds.
