Those mods that left? You know that they want to hold that banhammer again, and they crave the self-importance that comes with being the mods of a (formerly) influential gaming forum, the latter of which they know they can't get @ a new forum.

What they want is for Tyler to voluntarily leave NeoGAF so they can say: "See? We made change happen and kicked that rapist off our forums! We aren't as bad as those GGers say we are!", and thus get back to banning people for silly shit, covering for pedos and harassing developers to remove JonTron.

I think people like Schreier & Klepek are/were waiting for that same event to happen too..

If I were in Tyler's shoes, I'd keep the forums and make a hard turn, make the forum as insufferable for SJWs as possible by hiring GG-friendly mods.

What's he got to be afraid of? Gaming sites? They already blew their wad, hell, they weakened the girl's allegations against him by revealing that they banged afterwards. The former SJW population? because embedded non-HTTPS stuff in your HTTPS site causes browsers to freak out, and won't fully validate. They spoke to the ad service apparently and were like "lol fuck you". Tyler made a very big deal about it, ranting about how he's working a million hours a day trying to get the ads fixed, working with his crack ad team.

Literally nothing fucking happened after that, and really recently (like a few days ago) he de-stickied the "report malicious ads" thread.

I looked up GAF's webhost, and it's Liquid Web, which, if you're dumb enough to pay Liquid Web prices (cheapest dedicated server is $200 a month, cheapest cloud VPS is $60 a month), then you're tech-stupid. Much cheaper (and better) webhosts out there, and you choose that EL? God, you're dumb.
