About to say the same. For some reason a lot of the most prominent members of the yugioh community are black. With magic is the opposite, all players are white, even for my that's weird. I think that explain why the magic community looks like resetera (a bunch of angry white incels, OHH and most of the women are, you guessed right, trans or non binary), and you can bet your ass magic online community is progressive and unbearable as fuck.

Anecdotally it's for 2 reasons: Magic is scalped to fuck (and therefore pricey), and Yu Gi Oh has a sick anime and every nerd in the hood is a weeb.

How in the fuck can you even afford that?!?! Annual Disney passes are outrageously expensive (even for locals) and not all-inclusive. Parking, food & concessions, souvenirs, hotels and all that shit are extra. The "fast pass"-type stuff is extra too. And if you're not local, there's the travel cost just to get there, too.

Theres so much sjw shit in MTG that even as someone who doesn't follow the game I hear about it all the time. Also I think yugioh is free from their nonbinary tentacles is because they hate Japanese media, almost as a rule.
