On the gaming side; I've noticed that funny one liners are verboten, unless they're dick sucking one liners. For example, anything that could be considered 'banter' between xbox and Sony fans, cops you a ban. But sucking up and defending one side, while being a condescending piece of shit, is totally fine.
Months ago Tyler purged the boys club. It seems that the direction Tyler wants is a forum where no banter exists, only corporate cock sucking and shilling. (check out the community thread, starting from most recent post and going back a few pages to see how long you can last before you're either bored to tears or are die of cringe with the level of banter)
