The main reason they are dying is not for the things that EvilLore did, is true that the screech inside the forum are funny but the main reason of all of this debacle is one of the biggest flaw that every SJW community has

You see, every single of them are afraid of everyone that is not pure at a terrible degree we have seen examples of this time and time again, the main reason is because that they know very deep that everyone hates them, in NeoGAF the main reason was the elitism, just being accepted into the forum was considered a badge of honor between the SJW, GamerGate just gave them a boogieman they could not shame or pinpoint, just imagine every single day "this poster could be a GG, or this one? why if this person leak this information that show how bad we are? can i trust this person?" the people that are rebelling in the forums are surely lurkers that managed to get a account but posted normal things or people that were afraid of being banned and now that they know the ship is exploding they dont give a damn
Im pretty sure some lurkers came here and took your joke of Kiwi Team Six seriously and are questioning who is who in the new heaven they are trying to create
Also this tale of Eviltwat is a reminder that "dont trust fact but feels" will bite them in the ass too
It's that kind of paranoia that makes their community deserve lolcow status.
And not trying to toot my own horn here, but All The Tropes learned an important lesson from TV Tropes on this one. TV Tropes tried to obfuscate a lot of their internal working when Fast Eddie was in charge, and it wound up blowing up in his face more than once, like when he tried to cover up his many screwups coding his site, the fact he used multiple sockpuppets for himself, his attempts to work his will through subordinates for things he was too scared to catch heat for, etc. He always tried to hide it or lie about it and when the truth came out, he looked like a bigger jackass for it.
NeoGAF is that on a larger scale, because even though their forum is a public facing enterprise that technically has no secrets in terms of content, they still try to cloak and dagger their actions, making them look like bigger fools because they bothered to do so even though it just made them look bad in the process.
What public facing communities need is transparency, both to engender public trust and to make the world not wonder what they are hiding by trying to hide what they do in plain sight. However, NeoGAF was always infected by SJWism, and as someone who examined the cult long enough to understand what it's like underneath the mask, they are natural paranoids, preferring secrecy even when openness would be better because they live in constant fear someone will call them out for some minor sin that will get them expelled from the cult, and NeoGAF has always lost it's shit whenever anything they tried to hide got out because that paranoia became second nature, since the entire forum was under the thumb of such lunacy.
If NeoGAF is ever going to get "better" (if such is even attainable), that culture of fear and secrecy must end.
