Do they honestly think Keffals life was ever in danger and he needed to raise $100K (an amount he kept bumping up unlike that one person said) to be safe in the same general location he's long lived in? I really can't understand how people can be this willingly gullible. They seriously get infinitely angrier at anyone pointing out how they're stupid than they do at the people who caused them to look stupid for believing their clear nonsense and publicly defending it. You really have to wonder what it would take for them to not believe and defend something they are told is on the "right side of history" at this point.

Can't screenshot because I'm mobile but there's a thread on a Kotaku article complaining about how people's pre-paid phone numbers aren't being allowed as a way to authenticate their Blizzard accounts in OW2. People complain about how it's classism but the idea behind the system is to counter act smurfing, and I wouldn't put it above people who Smurf to get burner phones in order to smurf. So they immediately become outraged at it, even though Blizzard has botched the launch in other ways, but watch them forget this when they aren't getting slaughtered in their casual games because smurfing was a big issue in OW1, which is why I stopped playing it. So thank God for Blizzard doing something that's already being done in South Korea/China. Era is unable to see the forest for the trees per usual :/

I'm not going to disagree, but if you were you to use Destiny 2 as an example, OW2 qualifies as a f2p game because the heroes are locked behind playtime while content in D2 is locked behind, well money. Frick, I sound like a Blizzard shill

Agreed, requiring a phone number is fucking retarded and is an invasion of privacy but these people can't just point to that reason, they have to go off about classism or whatever because of their warped narrow worldview. It's correctly hating something but for the wrong reason.
