When I saw headlines that a "gaming forum" was banning all discussion of Hogwarts Legacy because of troons, I knew it was this one.

I wonder how many of their userbase are troons or non-binary. I remembered one user claiming that they enjoyed Pokemon X and Y because of its female trainer customization and the Fairy-type/Sylveon helped them become a troon. This post:

The forum has always been plagued with presentism and apocalyptical millennialism in its most active members. Which is ironic because one of the actual useful achievements historically of the left/progressives was to call attention to this thinking, especially in academia, and the errors in conclusions it introduces. And it's not just Era, but most of the modern progressives on the internet reject that for a strong emotional bond to the idea that we live in the most important moment of all moments teetering on the precipice of the end of humanity for our sinful refusal to adhere to a strict ever changing unannounced moral code.

Sure, we live in the most peaceful and inclusive time in human and even American history but like who cares, they really want Asians to be being slaughtered in the streets by a massively popular fascist movement about to seize power because it gives their life meaning. Who are you to dismiss their concerns that they'd really really like to be true? You're probably a fascist trying to get them to lower their guard so you can murderrape them.

Any website with heavy moderation will be filled with troons, they literally can't exist anywhere else where their fragile minds can be challenged

There'll be plenty of screeching for literally years. There'll be freakouts in sales topics, every time a new content trailer shows up at E3 or whatever, anyone who gives it a good review, every time anyone considers it for goty etc
and there'll be infighting between the "never discuss the game at all" people and "I want to rant about something related to the game and try to cancel someone" people

I know, Im just tempted. I tried it earlier but you cant do it with a junkmail address so I probably cant be bothered anyway.

Also if some of them are here Id love to engage with them a little bit. I know most of you are just flaming them but I'm genuinely baffled at how they don't go Schizo in a place like that engaging year after year. I'd go crazy, I wouldn't know what to say anymore. Maybe they are crazy and that explains it.

He was looking at life in prison before he fired the first shot. There's also a really good chance (in my mind, I argue it in the shooting thread) that the firearm has been sitting under someone's mattress for close to 40 years so it probably wasn't purchased recently, he had an unregistered homemade suppressor, the gun is outright banned for transfer or ownership in CA, all his magazines were over legal capacity, he illegally concealed the weapon and probably traveled through multiple restricted gun zones, etc. Every single thing about his firearm and actions that day were in violation of laws that carried heavy penalties, and they had 0 influence on the outcome. People that are gonna call it a gun control issue are genuinely retarded.

While there are legitimate reasons for signing up, like using search w/o having to use ddg/google, or visit the threads that the mods hid out of embarassment and fear for the authorities like BCT and the metathreads.

But there is a real reason why the rule against gay ops exists and resetera is doing a fine enough job making themselves look like a tardfarm without any outside help.

It's a reoccurring problem that mass murderers don't follow licensing and other procedural regulations before and during their murder sprees, I think we just need more laws and regulations. Maybe greater penalties on violations during the conduct of mass murder. Oh, and walls and checkpoints on all state borders with extensive warrantless searches of every vehicle so people from lawless red states can't weaken the laws. ACAB, fuck the capitalist police state, btw.

That's all good man. Its no hill to die on, but the point wasn't to make fun of them in public and post it here. Just for my personal amusement. It was just an offshoot comment, people take their forum culture too seriously everywhere apparently, including here.

I'd love to have access to like their private discords too and just learn the extent of the insanity they don't disclose in public too without wanting to do anything organized to get in there.
