Knowing these types of people, they would argue they only have to arm themselves because guns exist at all. They probably want the US to go full UK and ban all guns.

Never mind that there are probably more guns than people in the US. Never mind, both in population and especially in square mileage, the US is many times bigger and therefore has way more places to hide weapons. Never mind that all that it would do is take guns away from lawful users while criminals will still keep their guns and continue to go to the black market.

Every time, and I do mean every time, I've asked how they would ensure that every single gun is taken away and how they will keep criminals from buying illegal guns, they go full apeshit and never even attempt to answer the damn question. I did play the first few minutes and it's more serious in tone than I thought. Surprisingly witty writing. Protagonist starts out as a stereotypical perpetually angry anon. I think I'll read it more when I find the time. Certainly better than expected.
If you run into issues: start it with the SHIFT key held down for an additional setup menu with some troubleshooting options.
