No shit... I didn't know 16-Bit (Steve/Stephanie Brownback) posted on Era. It makes sense considering he trooned out and hates video games now, even though he's the head of QA at a company that is notorious for not having released a quality game in almost a decade.

I met Steve a few times in person before he trooned out. He was one of the most obnoxious "toxic males" in the Mortal Kombat scene. He was constantly chimping out and talking shit, and now he's a, "Tee hee, aren't these characters so silly?" brand faggot. He's the reason I think any man in the FGC that only plays female characters is going to troon out eventually. He also recently stirred up a ton of shit in the MK community because he was on a live stream for NRS to promote one of their new characters. People in the chat were all bitching about balance patches (because MK1 fucking sucks right now) and his reply was something along the lines of, "I don't care. I'm not a competitive player anymore." That's the face of your company and you're wondering why the last two MK games were monumental flops. I don't have any evidence of it but I'm pretty sure I've heard him say "faggot" a couple times as a derogatory term, but that was back when he was part of the problem (a man).

Long story short I hate this faggot because I used to think he was an alright dude until he assumed a major role in ruining one of my favorite franchises.

I've heard nothing but bad things about nu-mortal kombat. I am so glad I stopped paying attention around the time of MK10, even without reduction in ballistics and loot crates I just found the whole "crossover fighter!" DLC schtick rubbed me the wrong way and the stupid kids of the main cast that wasted roster slots didn't help either. With how awful the games since then have been, and with who runs the studio now, I don't regret a thing. Shame Street Fighter and other fighting games are just as shit nowdays, too.

I'm beginning to think they try and get boycotts going so they can claim to themselves 'I got more than one other person to not play it, so even if I do that's still a net loss for the company.' Everyone else has the same level of ethics and is likely doing the same thing, but it's not like they really care, it would just be a fig-leaf for them always getting to do whatever they want no matter what 'moral' stance they take in front of others.
