Yeah, a troon. If you couldn't tell from the weirdo flag colors in the avatar they've posted about it a lot. They're one of my favorite schizo posters because they'll post these insane screeds, especially in that woman sexualized design threads, with all kinds of ranting about "woman loving woman" erasure and other incel stuff as if it's totally normal and everyone experiences it. Then people will quote like the one coherent line in it and be like "I totally agree" before posting their own rant. You can kind of see it in that third post I screenshot.
Later in that thread somebody misunderstood what they said and disagreed (possibly because he posts word salads about weird shit) and they made like seven posts about being autistic.

I decided to have a look at the thread on the new Zelda game that was just announced. The fact that the games have Zelda in the title yet you don't get to play as her has long been a pet issue on these forums, along with calls for a female Link.
Now that their prayers have been answered the vibes seem largely positive. However, predictably, I've noticed some people are quite unhappy about the fact that Nintendo has chosen to craft unique game mechanics that take advantage Zelda's distinct attributes as a character when they could have had her play exactly like Link and show that girls can do anything boys can do.
Then there are some posters who argue over wether it's some kind of sexist signaling that the very first object they picked to demonstrate Zelda's new Echo ability was a table:
Overall I wouldn't say these people are taken very seriously though.

Who knew all they wanted was soulless skin remixing instead of female(ugh they're called WOMXN you ch-ch-CHUD!) characters getting their own games based around their abilities?

I love how Nintendo has handled the switch over to playing as Zelda. They deliberately sidestepped the Sarkeesian-approved "Princess in Pants with a Sword" method and chose something that still respects the lore of their franchise. Link even frees Zelda in a last heroic action before capture, so they didn't emasculate Link like Resetera probably hoped for. It's like Nintendo gave them the playable Zelda they kept whining for, but it was accompanied with a middle-finger that said, "We're doing this on OUR terms."
Quite a few on Resetera are happily accepting the game, but Julia Crawford refuses to. Nothing but ABSOLUTE PARITY with Link will do, because otherwise, they're supporting "differences" in gender. And boys and girls are THE EXACT SAME THING!

I did have a chuckle over the fact a table was the first thing to be created by Zelda. Mostly because I knew this reaction was coming from resetera as they can never be happy, Also it was just funny to see.

Just take what julia crawford says in this first post to the logical conclusion:
They want to strip everything of meaning or else it's "essentialist" and at the same time they want these things to have existential meaning all while demanding that there be no possibility that anything can be seen as anything but morally good. So you need a bland lowest common denominator in which the character can look like anything except a fit white cishet male. And the only way to achieve that LCD, though they don't realize it because they deliberately do not believe in the idea that culture changes, is to reproduce the existing things except with soulless "diversity" so now everyone can feel "included" in the mandatory activities.
These positions are all contradictory, not inclusive. That's why their "bold and stunning" challenges to gender involve claiming they're women because they adhere to stereotypes they believe about women. Because Zelda is cis though it's problematic, she needs to be trans or else it's reifying conservative norms. That one little change makes it okay. Just like Ass Creed Japan's white savior narrative is fine because the foreign samurai is Black. You can't object to these problematic things now because you're being anti-trans or anti-Black since what's really important is just taking what came before and changing something irrelevant about the character but proclaiming it bold and stunning.
They see "representation" as a zero-sum game, that they weren't allowed to enjoy things before because it didn't depict them. You can't enjoy something if it doesn't depict you, everyone knows this because it's what all people feel. This is why all non-fat white cishet males need to be driven out. Anything that depicts them is denying me and I should never be excluded. That's the entire offense.
This is why Zelda is offensive, she's not getting to do what Link does. This must be a moral condemnation of me. Things aren't different just because they're different, no, there's always a moral reason the person chose to do that to say something about me. And since I know the person is morally corrupt for offending me, I can read that sinister motive into all their choices and see it wasn't just a coincidence that a table was the first thing, that this was all part of the patriarchal alt-right agenda that's all about refusing to praise me just for existing.
