I'll actually be surprised if the only two reasonable people in that thread (the OP and Nooblet) haven't been banned yet. Then again, why are they even posting on that forum?

Also, do the members on sites like Resetera intentionally misinterpret everything so they can be outraged or are they actually that retarded?

This is universal, most people everywhere don't read past the headline (certainly true for A&N here on the Kiwi Farms). Which in itself is fine, nobody has time to read everything, the real trouble starts when people confidently form a worldview based solely on headlines.

Apparently the devs in question are Korean. Not having any experience with anything outside Twitter certainly wouldn't stop a Western studio.

lol yes, prioritizing "diversity" over quality is good, but also there is some entirely unrelated, undefined systemic issue that prevents studios from putting out good works. Very mysterious, looking into it.

(Not that mandatory DEI is the only thing to blame for creative stagnation, but you have to be blind and dumb not to see that it's related.)
