I don’t think they can take a joke, however what they certainly can do (and likely will if they decide to address it) is rant and rave about how Jim is just a goobergrape harasser, how anyone talking shit is just mad they got banned for being a nazi bigot, and how the site totally isn’t “leftist” and actually needs stronger moderation.

I think they'll just close any thread related to Jim or that video, and make mentioning his name an instant ban.

I honestly wouldn't put it past them to do something like that, given how much they think that 1984 was a manual.

This applies (applied?) to NeoGAF as well but anytime there was some kind of outsider perspective or discussions about the forum that wasn't fawning over how important and/or intersectionally woke they were, all discussion was usually deleted and they would ban anyone who brought it up.

The most sickening example was when Amir0x got arrested for child porn. This was NeoGAF of course but the same would apply for ResetEra. The mods and admins were so fast in memoryholing all discussion that some of their duller lemmings on the forum had no idea that it even happened until showergate.

Pretty much. ResetEra is not a gaming forum. Its a place where the most unwanted faggots on the internet gather. You have to remember when NeoGaf imploded, NOBODY wanted them. Nobody. Forums literally closed registrations when these stupid cunts were hunting down a new forum to go to. Not even fucking Waypoint wanted them. WAYPOINT for fucks sake. Giant Bomb closed registrations. Gamefaqs shuddered with the thought of them registering. Vox's motherboard hid its registration button. Topics across forums welcoming Neogafers were shut down and deleted. They were shut out of every gaming website and Reddit.

That's who these people are. People so unlikable, so detestable, that they were forced to make their own shithole on the internet. This is who they are. Nobody listens to them, nobody fucking likes them. They are unloved, a laughing stock. The purpose ResetEra serves is one of containment. To contain all these faggots in one place. Its like that old George Carlin joke where he says we put all the crazies in this one state and lock it up, put cameras on and charge a fee for watching. Except the crazies willingly locked themselves in the asylum, and we don't have to pay to watch.

As others have already pointed out, Morrigan's presence as a moderator speaks volumes. Her heinously fugly mug should prepare you for an even uglier personality.

I'm still a little bitter over 'problematic' getting absorbed into the SJW lexicon.

For me, 'problematic' used to mean 'an issue with no easy solutions and a lot of frustrating angles to consider'. Not quite a Gordian knot, but if you wanted to fix it you were going to have to sit down and spend some time on it.
