I doubt any of this has any effect on Resetera's user base.

Evilore told a story years ago on Neogaf about him smacking some random broads ass at a bar and how she liked it. This story was 1000% worse than the shower story. The shower story reaction is bizarre because there is no way to make that out to a sexual harassment or assault like it was portrayed. The user base did not revolt over the bar story because they had nowhere else to go and they knows that no one else wants them. Resetera's mindset is to ignore things unless they can make a dramatic uproar over it and feel like they have a "win". There is no "win" for them in this scenario. No other forum wants to hear their suicidal ideation threads. This is why they don't stop with the THQ 8chan thing. They have to have a win.

Funny history trivia that ties into how ResetERA works.

The real Zhuge Liang was doing great until the Battle of Fan Castle got Guan Yu killed, and Liu Bei went on an fit of autistic rage that fucked up things further with their already down the tubes alliance with Wu, and that got Liu Bei taken out of the picture too.

Zhuge Liang managed to patch things up with Wu, but the Shu grand strategy was pretty much screwed from that day onward.

Zhuge Liang, however, did this autistic shit called the Northern Campaign where he kept trying to screw over Wei by trying to take territory where the Wei side of the Three Kingdoms conflict was STRONGEST (he had little choice since the soft underbelly of Wei was off the table since trying to go that route would piss Wu off again).

He achieved what amounted to jack and squat, ran his health into the ground, and finally croaked at the Battle of Wuzhang Plains, having achieved even less than he originally intended.

ZhugeEX is just following his historical inspirations lead perfectly, and the schadenfreude is hilarious.

I would not put it past them to upload illegal content to someone's servers then try and use strict liability laws to get the site owner put in prison.

Yeah... I just hope it's fake, it just sounds a bit too good to be true..... so I'll leave this at that for now. I apologize for the inconvenience. I just found this as a possible clue to this whole scandal..

Yeah, not sure what made me think of lead with that sentence. But I found out later that it was a joke- it wasn't my joke, though. I just knew that it was too good to be true. I jumped to conclusion -_-
