The irony being that these degenerate troon fucks wailed about how everyone but them is ultra-privileged, even though the majority of the people they attack and want to cancel aren't independently wealthy, let alone in the position of being able to pursue an expensive, essentially unstudied, and irreversible body modification.

I personally think the trans movement is destroying the lives of many young men who just need some help, but ultimately do what you want, if you make your own life miserable that's on you, not me.

Even gay men are getting the bullet now as not being special or unique enough, especially white gay men.

It's essentially the same "conversion therapy" that these same people still associate Mike Pence with, but acceptable because it's hormones and surgery, instead of electroshock.

The uptick in MtF troons is no coincidence. MtF troons are the flavour of the month, especially if you want attention and free reign to be a complete asshole to everyone around you.

I've said it elsewhere on the boards - the Blank Slate/Social Constructivist feminists have pushed that gender and sexuality are simply choices, and modern feminist theory holds that men are evil, women are innocent, so inevitably you're going to get people that get pushed past learned helplessness into a bizarre version of self-loathing that feeds autogynephilic delusions of gender dysphoria. Pale skin is culturally prized in East Indian and Asiatic cultures as a sign of socio-economic success, proving that you're rich enough to be able to pay others to do shitty outdoor work for you, to the extent that skin-bleaching is an enormous industry in that part of the world. The same shit is happening in western cultures, with women being portrayed as the innocent and oppressed, and men being assigned the role of the animalistic and perpetual oppressor.

Add all that onto a lack of positive male role modeling for almost 3 generations, and 2 generations worth of "Rewarded Participation Culture", and eventually, you get people so tired of being constantly told they're garbage that they'll find any excuse and method to disassociate themselves from the characteristics that lead to social stigmatization and punishment, and inclusion in special groups where they get asspats and positive reinforcement for being unique, no matter how exceptionally they behave.

The best analogy I can think of is (exceptionally enough) from The Art of War, where Sun Tzu talked about always leaving your opponent a way out, in order to avoid having them commit to a costly (and likely Phyrric) last stand. In western societies, there's young men (particularly the nominally "white" ones) ending up in one of 3 places - MGTOW/VolCel, Incel, or trooning out.

The first group is just trying to pull entirely out of the situation, which isn't going to stop SJWs from targeting them.
The 2nd group feels they're cornered and is starting to react with rage. We see the same crazy shit with Muslim Incels, except their rage is channeled into attacking infidels, or the promise of perpetual virgin poon in the afterlife.
The 3rd group thinks that giving up everything associated with vilified masculinity is somehow going to cure the underlying vilification, lack of role models, and complete reliance on external validation, because they were taught that failure is rewarded, rather than an excuse to improve.

And after all those assholes crowd in and fuck up everything for the tiny minority of people that legitimately have gender dysphoria, and just wanted to live a life passing as the other sex? Then you start noticing the predators that have snuck in, like JY and the sick fucks like them, who are the ones that are guaranteed to cause the biggest backlash, because their ONLY interest is creating opportunities to pursue their predatory behaviour.

I'm waiting for Contrapoints and HBomberGuy to step out of line or be metoo'd. Watching the entire fanbase turn on them would make ProJared and Anita Sarkeesian look small in comparison. Especially when they start taking their videos out of context.

I think part of it might be the co-opting of fetishes as well. 10 years ago, if you were a man who dressed in women's clothes you were a cross-dresser/transvestite. Now it's considered stunning and brave. This fetishism angle could also explain why so much of the discussion around "trans issues" involves using the women's toilets and complaining about video game characters.
