Here's the thing about SJW liberals: they pretend to care about the little guy but it's just for optics...in reality they don't give a shit. Look at any large city like NYC or San Francisco...the "progressive liberal governments" are in bed with the landlords and love to de-regulate rents, leading the working class to become homeless.

Resetera just perpetuates the liberal hypocrisy. They'll scream over a video game developer saying parents shouldn't mutilate their babies into another gender, but when it comes to real issues that don't allow them to boost their savior complex...no one cares.

But a software developer in the US programming a game FOR that compute,r built on slave labor and raw sewage, that DOESN'T have a trans character??!!! BURN HIM DOWN! HE'S THE REAL PROBLEM!

They fight only what they know they can win by setting up the "battle" on their terms where shaming a total stranger into compliance is more likely to work than trying to get a totalitarian regime to care what you think half-a-globe away.

The short-sighted narcissism of the modern protest class is sickening.

We can't solve real world problems, but, if we build these tiny molehills into mountains and publicly destroy them, well, whose to say we aren't heroes after all?

When I was in college, some of the kids held a sit-in on the campus lawn to protest Chinese sweatshop labor since the university athletic department bought their stuff from the King of Asian Sweatshops, Nike.

It didn't do anything, but at least they were honest in who their target was, if nothing else.

These days, the same group, ostensibly protesting the same thing, instead breaks the windows in the downtown shops, accomplishing even less than the previous gen since at least all they did was cause some trampled spots on the grass, not six figures in damages to people who don't even make policy.

I'm guessing we'll see some astronomical salt from Era if Catherine Full Body pulls in some good sales. A lot of big games just came out last week, including Astral Chain and Control, but I don't think there's much coming out this month so it may prove to be a sleeper hit.

At the very least Catherine deserves it for being one of the greatest game ever made. A Steam release would have help it, but alas ; Atlus.
