love Dragons Crown if for no other reason than the hilariously overdrawn (and hawt) and barely-legal Sorceress absolutely ENRAGES these bitter harpies so much. I've rarely seen any artwork set these bitches off so hard as this game's does.
In fact, I consider the game's artwork a litmus test. There are only a few possible responses to being shown Sorceress and I find them all very informative:
- "Holy shit, boobies!" - You are a straight man (or a lesbian) with a healthy sexual appetite (whether or not you like them tig ol' bitties is irrelevant; that you noticed them and are not offended by them is the important part), or you at least have a good sense of humor
- "[yawn] Boring" - You are a homosexual man with a healthy sexual appetite (see above)
- "Wow, that's ridiculous, she's not even pretty" - You are a straight heterosexual woman with a healthy sense of self-awareness (enough to worry she's either hotter than you or at least hot enough to be your competition in the eyes of your man, even if that fear is irrational and unfounded in reality)
- "That's fucking disgusting and misogynistic, how awful! This is objectification!" - You are an obnoxious feminist; if male, you are gay and a sex pest; if female, you are an unlovable, unfuckable hambeast filled with bitter jealousy raging at something people find attractive -- something you will never be
i.e. if you think she's hot (or funny or just boring), you're a healthy person with a good sense of humor and a functioning sex drive. If she deeply offends you, you're the kind of miserable person nobody ever wants to be around because you don't know how to be a good sport about anything and you're always angry. Literally seething.
Every /v/ thread featuring her image is a delight to read. The REEEEs trying to "infiltrate" /v/ can't help but rage. Works every time.
