They do, this was confirmed over ex-mod leaks, probing discord and I believe one active mod at some point mentioning account notes.

The issue is after that ex-mod leaked stuff, many of the account matters were taken offsite to insulate them from the forum software. So the admins, for example, will have their own exclusive discord chat room to discuss accounts, rather than every mod they have being able to see a staff forum of commentary. Just in case a Kiwi ever gets into the ranks and leaks the staff room lunacy.

Most onsite work is now just looking at the mess of a report system they have and actioning the bans themselves. This is why they lock topics and say "We're reviewing reports". Hundreds of screeching all comes in at once and the system is pathetic at logging/filtering and handling it.

But account notes do exist and they do create lists of posters they don't like that they want other mods to be aware of and find a way to ban. This is why accounts suddenly become "alt-accounts" or if you see a topic like that Clinton troon mayhem, posters in there who are sensible and calm and wind up the inmates suddenly get 1 month/perm bans elsewhere for next to nothing.

It's a Chinese concentration camp for free-thinkers or normies. Even if you disguise some of your political viewpoints, if you express any self-awareness, ask for reason or remain calm, you will be found by the Thought Police and sent to the gulags. The angry white male troons and their beta orbiters spend a lot of time on discord directly spamming mods they like with posters they want banned. Apart from also smashing the report button 100s of times a month.

The troons and the Why Women Criticise gestapo literally cause the vast majority of the Resetera reports.

As much as Kiwifarms is a fun site to see the circus I've always said it's an educational information dump on where humanity has gone wrong and the kinds of behavior and actions to avoid if you want to live a life where other people largely leave you alone and you get on with most randoms around you.
